About this property

Pearl Gem An Historic Home in the Heart of Denver!

This freshly remodeled home boasts a main floor living area with laundry room (full size washer and dryer) located in the basement and reserved off-street parking with 2-car covered carport on rear of property.
Come enjoy this beautiful historic Denver home with the perfect urban location! 24 Pearl Steet is one of only a handful of homes in Denver constructed with Rhyolite. Rhyolite is a durable, fine-grained stone first formed 36 million years ago during a volcanic explosion near Mt Princeton, where the ash settled abruptly over the area now know as Castle Rock, Colorado, It was first discovered & hand quarried in the mid nineteenth century, transported via mule train and used to build many historic buildings along the Front Range. The pink/gray faade shows the original tooling marks banding the corners of the rusticated blocks. Hand carved into the stone are designs typical of the Romanesque Style so popular in 1895 when 24 Pearl Street was built.

There are over a dozen retail businesses within a short walk (3 blocks or less) Restaurants include Italian, French, Japanese, Creole, Ramen, Pho, as well as three (3!) fantastic breakfast and coffee bistros. Again, all of this is only a short walk away from your front door. There's even a great corner bar and grill to hang out and catch a game! For groceries, Trader Joe's or Safeway are each 0.8mi and a King Soopers at 1.4mi. For health and medical there are five major hospitals and medical centers within minutes, not to mention the numerous clinics and medical practices nearby as well. The Cherry Creek shopping district is to the East, less than 2 miles away, featuring a complete array of restaurants and shopping. There you'll find a range from moderate to high end experiences, including the infamous burgers at The Cherry Cricket, Whole Foods Market, Matsuhisa Sushi, and the 801 Chophouse, where you can order a $10,000 bottle of wine if you so choose. Head west six short blocks and you'll hit Broadway Blvd. Shop the funky South Broadway stores in Denver when you have nothing in particular you're looking for, but want to spend a fun afternoon exploring and discovering. This shopping district has a bohemian vibe and an eclectic collection of shops that sell some of the more fun and unusual wares that Denver has to offer. Born of a once-grittier neighborhood, Broadway has undergone a tremendous transformation over the last decade and the district is now a mix of old and new shops and restaurants, meaning you'll find an old-school liquor store tucked in between hipster boutiques.

Just north of 24 Pearl St you will find the Cherry Creek bike path that stretches from Confluence Park to the Cherry Creek Reservoir. The 14 mile paved stretch winds through downtown Denver and links shopping, dining, and cultural attractions along the way. Head southeast 1 mile from Pearl St and you will find Washington Park, one of Denver's most popular parks with a Recreation Center that includes a pool, gym, and workout facilities, playgrounds, tennis courts, lakes and plenty of open space for frisbee, volleyball or just a great place to meet up with friends for a picnic.

This coveted Denver location offers efficient and quick access to Downtown, I-25 (South to Denver Tech Center... or North to Boulder, Fort Collins...). I-70 East to Denver International Airport, or head West into the I-70 corridor for a hike in the foothills a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater or summer and winter fun in the high country. One look at the map shows it all!

We could go on and on with other amenities and options, but you get the gist. There is a list of businesses and restaurants along with a map waiting in the house.
