About this property

Brand new Commercial Drive guest suite in one of the best locations in the city. Two blocks off of "The Drive" with charming boutiques, pubs, many breweries, some of Vancouver's coolest restaurants, great coffee, and many parks. You'll fall in love with the vibe of this truly eclectic neighborhood.
Our house is located under a beautiful canopy of old-growth chestnut trees that are in full swing from April to September.
As outlined below we have 3 young children so family noise is unavoidable.

A nice stay

A lovely beautiful space. Very peaceful, with all that you need. Clean and in a great neighborhood. One piece, is that we knew about the sound of the upstairs family, but it's also worth mentioning that there is very little soundproofing so that upstairs sounds and next door resonate to the point where we were can make out full words and conversations.

Great place to stay for early risers

We have a comfortable stay. This place is cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Also, having a dishwasher and in-unit washer and dryer was a plus. Street parking was easy. The best part was the location and neighborhood. Easy street parking and 5 mins walk to produce market and restaurants. The unit is situated below the family unit. During our stay, upstair activities started around 7am and were quiet after 9pm. Great place to stay if you are early risers.

The suite had a damp, humid smell and was infested with silverfish. It was generally quite dusty, scratches on the walls, didn’t feel upkept—certain furniture such as the coffee table and desk shelf were practically falling apart. I even put down a plate of food on the table and the top immediately flipped over and fell to the floor since it wasn’t attached to the legs. The area itself was so nice, just a few minutes walk down from Commercial Dr. But in terms of the “cozy suite” itself, I would definitely not recommend this stay.
