Aspen Creek #401 is a great condominium for year-round vacationers. Located in Mammoth Lakes, this unit is within walking distance to Eagle Lodge and the Eagle Express Chairlift. The Snowcreek Golf course and several hiking and biking trails are a quick car ride away. Head into town for great restaurants and shopping.

Comfortable seating circles the living area and the sofa doubles as a sofa sleeper. Light the wood burning fireplace (wood provided) and turn on a movie. A DVD player with BlueRay, CD player, telephone (local calls only), and high-speed internet are offered for your enjoyment. Access the private balcony from this room and catch a breath of fresh air while you take in the views of the surrounding area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances to aide a chef prepare mouthwatering meals. Grab one of the 2 seats at the built-in breakfast bar to keep the conversation going with the chef.

The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable King bed, TV, and attached bathroom.

Underground parking is available for 1 car (garage height 7'1"). Laundry facilities and elevators are in each building. The shared condo BBQ stations, picnic areas, and a swimming pool only open during the summer. The 3 hot tubs are open year round. Some of the condo amenities like the hot tub will not be available due to COVID.

Hate to be Negative - But this Property Should Not be Listed

Torn wallpaper. Torn dirty carpet. Unprepared gashes in walls. Beat up chairs. Mismatched beat-up cutlery and utensils in kitchen. Stained toilet seat set above dirty carpet on the bathroom floor. Dark depressing living and dining area. Kitchen with a high window like a prison cell window. Add to all that cutesy figurines my boys found super freaky and really really ugly furnishings and you have a nightmare of a rental. We left early. To be clear, I don't judge anyone who wants to live this way - either in terms of delayed maintenance or taste that is out of step with, I think, most any likely renter - but it's extremely disrespectful - shameful - to subject this property on others. The owners should keep it for themselves if that's how they want to live in it, but should not rent it out. And the rental management service that manages it - Grand Welcome - should clearly not be taking the listing. It brings into question their judgment and interest in assuring guests a good vacation. This one is absolutely to be avoided.

Needs a lot of work.

Relative to other VRBO & similar rentals that I have had, this one stands out as by far the one in most need of some investment. Virtually everything is really old: worn & torn carpet; exhaust fan over range not working; coils on range uneven; mattress in bedroom sagging & bounced when someone moved; and the lighter in front of the fireplace was empty. The knob in the shower was not working, so no hot water there on the 1st full day. They did come out the next day to fix this, but no hot water the first night was a bummer. The is a cabinet marked "Games", but was pretty much empty. I can't imagine that much has been spent on this place in decades, and it just seems to me that if you are going to charge these sorts of rates, just fix the place up. It could be nice.

We were so stoked that there was covered parking! Thank you!!! The only bummer was that there was little-to-no hot water in the shower. The sinks had it available but not the shower. -bc
