This is a wonderful property that is everything it says on the listing and more. It's a well maintained and welcoming property in a perfect location in Telluride. The amenities are perfect and support a relaxing atmosphere in the home. The kitchen is superb and well stocked with everything you need. The beautiful home was perfect for 3 couples to live and dine comfortable together. The location was very close to the gondola and historic downtown. Being able to walk everywhere for dining and shopping is priceless. The charm of the town is unparalleled. We already reserved our week for next year.

Fabulous location for a town-centric Telluride stay!

We had a terrific experience staying at Racer’s Roost. We are a family of four with two adult children (18 & 22) who enjoy cooking, eating out, skiing, yoga, and generally being active outside. The Roost is ideally suited for a family where everyone is active but not everyone skis as the town and Telluride’s cross country facility keeps the non-skiers healthy and happy. For nights in, the kitchen is very well appointed for a family that enjoys cooking, better than most VRBOs in our experience, For nights out, our favorite restaurants were a short walk away. The rooms are all very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms upstairs have steam showers and bathtubs, the outdoor hot-tub was very clean and very welcomed after a full day’s activities. Certainly recommend this VRBO!

Fabulous Vacation

We had such a great time in Telluride at the Racer's Roost. My husband and I took our 6 month old and two year old with us. The property mangers were nice enough to give us information for a qualified nanny and we were able to ski worry free for 3 days. The home is very well taken care of with many upgrades and the mangers went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was fabulous, and they even grocery shopped for us! We would highly recommend staying here and will likely rent again from Peter and Pam. Thank you!

BUT...I can't help myself. This was our second trip to Telluride and our second stay at Racer's Roost. You could not find a more welcoming and relaxing atmosphere than Racer's Roost. "Home away from Home" is such a cliché but could not be more fitting. It has everything you need and want and didn't realize you were missing when it comes to the steam showers and hot tub. Our family had ANOTHER wonderful time and hope to make this an Annual trip. THANK YOU RACERS ROOST!!

Groceries, ship ahead boxes and a Christmas tree delivered and someone there to greet us at arrival to boot. The house was very well stocked and kitchen had everything we needed.. All beds perfectly comfortable, hot tub clean and hot (and surprisingly private with a view!). Having a piano was a nice benefit for us. You can't get a better location just a short walk to the gondola, market and restaurants. We just skipped the line at ski storage and walked home with our skis, super easy! Not one complaint except that a bluetooth speaker would be nice but you can just bring one! Will definitely stay there again!

The moment we arrived at the townhouse, we knew we picked the right property. The unit was immaculate and tastefully decorated with a large modern kitchen, cozy living area and lots of natural light. It was stocked with basic supplies and an abundance of fluffy towels. Peter, the property manager, greeted us upon arrival and even helped us unload. He provided tips on local hiking trails, fishing and 4WD tours and was responsive whenever we had questions. When we weren't exploring the great outdoors, we enjoyed relaxing on the back deck, soaking in the hot tub and shopping in town and at the all organic farmers' market held every week - conveniently just one block away. In addition to the downstairs bedroom & full bath, there are 2 private "master suites" upstairs separated by a long hall, each with its own large bathroom and plenty of closet space. The townhouse is only a 5 minute walk to main street and 2 blocks from the gondola. Wish we could have stayed longer! Many thanks to Pam and Peter for a wonderful stay! Looking forward to returning next year!

Perfect Location

During our recent stay in Telluride, we wanted to just relax without any hard and fast plans so I picked a location in town so that we could walk to dinner or shops. I hadn’t been in Telluride before so wasn’t 100% sure what the “getting around” would look like. It was the BEST location. 3 minute walks to dinner and shops, super easy. While it was just my husband and myself, the property had 3 bedrooms complete with their own full-size bathrooms so would be great for multiple couples or a bigger family. The bed was comfy plus plenty of pillows made for a great night’s sleep. The hot tub on the little 2nd floor deck was visited most nights. It was good and hot and very clean (some aren’t, as you know) and the line of trees separating the property provided a decent level of privacy. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had a good assortment of wine glasses (wine store just down the street too). I only wish they’d had a Keurig instead of just a regular drip coffee maker. They’re just so much easier to get the flavor you want without having to make a whole pot. Gas fireplace in the family room made it easy to take the chill off. Property Management group did very well with communicating with me prior to and during our stay. This home was perfect for our stay, would highly recommend.
