Beautiful remodeled home! Close to the beach!

Dune What We Want is a newly remodeled home on the oceanside of Corolla. Grab your beach gear for a quick walk to the neighborhood's private beach access (we have beach chairsand an umbrella for your use... just bring your towels, sunscreen and surfboard). In the cute beach town of Corolla, you have plenty to do with shopping, restaurants or planning your meals with 2 grocery stores close by. We have a fully stocked kitchen w/pantry, a large custom built table w/bench seating and chairs for 8-10 people comfortably, a fixed charcoal grill and even a picnic table for your use. Golf, mini golf, adventure park, etc are close by. Book a sound fishing charter or you can rent jet skis, paddle boards, surf boards or kayaks locally if you prefer water adventures. You can schedule a horse tour to admire Corolla's infamous wild horses or find them on your own if you have a 4WD vehicle. Want to see a lighthouse, small museums or historical places? Corolla has that too! You can even walk to get some ice cream or bring your bike to get around to some of the local gems if you prefer!

Want to check in on a different day or extend/shorten your stay request? Just send us an inquiry as we are pretty flexible! Some of the fees can be adjusted for shorter stays in the off season as well (message me...I can't automate that on VRBO).

-All new mattresses and bedding (quilts to sheets). Beds made for your arrival.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend.

Michelle was a wonderful host who put time into organization and creating a wonderful home away from home! Everything was super clean (most appreciated after horrible past experiences) and the location couldn’t be beat. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach made staying with our 2.5 year old a breeze. We had the most amazing stay and hope to visit again soon!

The property was fantastic, very clean and an easy short walk to the beach. The host was wonderful. We were in town for a family wedding, she checked in with us to make sure all was going well! Would highly recommend this lovely home!

Dune What We Want was amazing! It was probably the cleanest house we have ever stayed. The kitchen was well equipped and well organized, which we very much appreciated. The recent reno was very tastefully done making it the perfect beach escape. We will definitely book again.

Perfect spot

Wonderful stay. Short walk to a fabulous and not at all crowded beach. Super convenient access to harris teater, restaurants and shops. House is impeccably clean and was perfect for our group of 6. Kitchen had everything we needed and the provided beach chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated. Michelle was great to work with. We didn’t want to leave. Hope to be back soon!

Good location. A quick 2 block walk to the beach. Private beach, only who live in the community have access. Groceries, restaurants and shops about 2 minute drive away. The house was very clean. Had everything you need for cooking in. The host was easily to get a hold of and very pleasant.

Living our best beach life

Do not pass this place up! We had two families here for a week. There was plenty of space and it was just beautiful! The owners thought of everything. From providing some pantry staples to labeling the light switches, there was nothing more we could have asked for. The beach was only a couple minute walk and it was never crowded. The outdoor shower was fantastic to keep the sand outside. This is definitely the place if you're looking for a quiet beach get away.

Beautiful Updated Home, Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. A couple blocks to walk to the beach, a block to the tennis courts, the grocery store is just across the main road and the home is close to many food options and shops (we love Duck Donuts, Lighthouse Bagels, and Cosmo’s Pizza 😋). The home has recently been renovated, which was lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for food storage. The outdoor shower was spacious and nice for rinsing off after the beach. We appreciated the beach chairs that were there for us to use. The lifeguard chair is right at the end of the boardwalk to the beach, so that’s an added bonus! There were fans in every bedroom (box fans and/or ceiling fans) which we loved. Overall great trip!
