Get a taste of the Encinitas/Leucadia laidback, surf and beach lifestyle in this charming, updated, bright and spacious 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow. Just 2 blocks walk to Stone Steps and 3 to Beacon's beaches. Open living, kitchen and dining with La Cantina multi-panel glass doors and sky lights that let the outdoors in. The main level has private fenced courtyards and patios with lockable front gate and succulents galore. Chill in the hot tub, read under the covered veranda and grill on the outdoor bbq deck. Well equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. Two separate work spaces just in case business calls. Lovely views to the east. It's a leisurely one block walk to the coveted Pannikin coffee shop and other Coast Highway eateries and shops. Feel free to use any beach gear, a soft-top surf board and cruiser bikes that are located in main level storage sheds. Easy street parking along property line. Requires a minimum of 31 night stay. Please note, this is a quiet neighborhood and the Encinitas noise ordinance is in full effect. No parties, loud music or events allowed.

The attached lower level owner office/ studio with separate entrance is not included in the rental, but if you have a need for additional work or guest space, please inquire and we will provide a quote with the additional nightly fee.

This property has been created with real thoughtfulness. The home is comfortable with a sense of the paste and all the comforts of the present. The gardens are delighful and the neighborhood is perfect!

Super cute place.

Stayed there for about 5 weeks while having worked done on our house. Really, really nice place. Great inside / outside living areas. Great location; walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend. PS -- Meli, the property manager, is great to work with.....professional, friendly, and responsive.

We recently stayed at the beach bungalow for a little more than a month and we absolutely loved our stay. The location was fantastic - quiet, safe and an easy walking distance to beaches and lots of great restaurants and shops along the Coast Hwy. And we always found street parking right in front of our property.The bungalow was spacious and beautifully appointed inside, with everything we could want to make our stay easy and comfortable, especially in the kitchen, as we cooked in quite a lot. In addition, the outside spaces were truly special. The succulent gardens were gorgeous as were the views. We loved eating outside most days and just spending time on the patio.Meli, the property manager, was so nice and friendly. She was very attentive and answered any and all questions promptly. Overall, we highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

Nice house, safe neighborhood

This house wasn’t really clean and the kitchen (although looking good in photos) wasn’t really as functional as I’d hoped. The finish on the countertops is sticky. Overall, it wasn’t very comfortable. The patio is arranged nicely but the upholstered furniture and pillows stays dusty…no fun. The shower head needs to be replaced and the whole bathroom could use a total redo. The washer and dryer are very nice. It’s an ok floor

Originally from the east coast, we relocated to California over 30 years ago and lived in this special neighborhood over 10. We love the weather and the proximity to great beaches, surf and inland trails. We're also travelers, lovers of the mountains and since covid, now spend most of our time in the Teton valleys of Idaho and Wyoming. Sad to say, our life and work only occasionally takes us back to the Leucadia bubble, so in the meantime, we're happy to open our home to like-minded travelers who appreciate unique spaces and communities!
