This is a great apartment in a central location. The only negative is the street on the ground floor is a major thoroughfare and the sounds of late night party goers, police cars and fire engines is a little annoying when they occur. Also the kitchen could use the addition of some minimum supplies e.g. sugar, tea and coffee.

The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen is a little tight but not a big deal. Nice and convenient location. Only issue was the room near the street was loud as others mentioned and woke us up several times. Be sure to bring some earplugs.

Thank you for staying at Modern Retreat and for the helpful feedback. Glad the unit was clean and nicely decorated and that the location was convenient. Sorry the room by the street was loud and interrupted your sleep — we understand how frustrating that is. We’ll look into additional soundproofing measures, add earplugs to the welcome kit, and clarify the listing about the kitchen size so future guests know what to expect. - The Lucky Team

The location was great and the property was very clean. Pictures are at really good angles, so I was not really expecting the kitchen to be that small, but the other rooms were perfect size. I would stay here again.

It was a great place to stay. very convenent walk distance to Savannah sites and places to eat and drink. Easily within walking distance of shops downtown. We did the multi-day parking passes which allowed street parking and also the public parking lots like on the river walk,

Clean and quaint. Great location as it is in the center of everything. Windows are single pain so noise from the outside traffic and noisy pedestrians can be heard at night.
