My family and I enjoyed staying at The Cozy Cabin for Christmas. It was unusually cold, but we stayed warm and enjoyed our stay. Greg was helpful and always responsive to questions. We had a great time!
Spent bringing in the New Year with my significant other and some friends. It was a relaxing time. The cabin was very clean and everything worked well.
Very comfortable, relaxing accommodation. Communication with Greg was excellent and easy. I would recommend this place to anyone. Can't say enough good things.

Mountain Cabin - Sleeps 5, not 6
I booked the cabin because we needed room for 6 guests and thought we might bring our dog. The cabin has three beds and one is a twin so the listing of "sleeps 6" is definitely misleading. The property management company also never sent me instructions to get in so I had to call the owner for the code. Fortunately, the owner was very accommodating and answered the phone when we arrived so we got the code. I believe he is getting a new management company so hopefully they are better. Additionally, two people in our group did not stay and we only had 4 so the beds weren't an issue but if we had 6 adults someone would have had to sleep on the couch. The listing also should state that the parking is not very close to the cabin with a walk down a few ramps that were very slippery in the rain.

The property was generally fine. However, we did not receive by email the lockbox code for the house so there was a delay of 30 mins while I contacted the owner and agent after we arrived.
The house is advertised as 3 bedrooms with a king bed, queen bed, and 2 twin beds. The house actually has 3 bedrooms with a king bed, a full bed, and 1 twin bed. Fortunately, we only had 5 people so had enough bed space with people sharing beds, but this was false advertising on the agent and owner's part and should be changed on the VRBO site.
The photos on the website are taken of only 1.5 of the bedrooms.
The hot tub had no chemical treatment. The water was not clear and had bits of algae floating in it. We were disappointed to not be able to use it.

Thank you for choosing our Cozy Cabin for your getaway. I am so sorry.
You did not receive the email with lockbox code and other information.
I am not sure what happened to the hot tub, we have a cleaning service that cleans and maintains the hot tub after each guest.
I got there a about an hour after check in. I did not have the key code to get in. I called the owner and after 15 min he called me back with the correct code and we hung up. When I entered I noticed that they cabin had not been cleaned. I called the owner back and after a few minutes he realized that the cleaner had not known(actually I don't think he even knew) that I was going to be checking in. He called me back and asked if I could leave for an hour. I went to Wal-Mart and arrived back after 1:10 min. I waited another 30 min in my car for the cleaners to finish. Finally, after all that I was able to get in and was fairly disappointed in the property. I asked the owner what he could do for my inconvenience. The best I could understand from his reply was that he was offering me a frozen pizza that was left in the fridge by a previous tenant. I honestly don't know what he was saying. I hope you don't run into any issues at this location.
Enjoyed stay only complaint was the steep stairs from the house to the parking area. Not very good for people who have any mobility issues. Definitely not for the handicapped. Was hoping to see some snow but not after I got there roads are not passable with any snow and steep steps would not work out.
We truly enjoyed our family trip at this cabin. We had some bumps (lost electric for about 5 hrs one evening due to a fallen tree somewhere in the area and had a water leak from the AC down stairs in the utility room when we first arrived on Saturday that wasn’t able to be fixed due to being Labor Day weekend until the following Wednesday afternoon, and a couple other small things) these were just bumps as I said, things happen beyond one’s control so was nothing that ruined our vacation, we just worked with it. The Property manager:Toni was great and kept up with us in communication during our stay and was very receptive and helpful 😊 The beds were comfortable, cabin was clean, back porch view was beautiful, location was great close to Helen and everything we needed, the driveway is fine by the way other reviews had me a little worried about it but know it is nicely paved and looks steeper then it is, my car is pretty low to the ground and I had no problems at all.
We felt comfortable and relaxed in this lovely cabin. The beds are comfortable, morning light was just right for a little sleeping in, the openness of the kitchen and living areas made it feel homey and inclusive while we were cooking in the kitchen or the grill, and there were just enough of the right tools to make everything we planned. We ate at the table together, watched movies together, and used the hot tub once (had some stormy evenings) together. It really was a great place to enjoy each other’s company. It was quiet all but one night (I was 25 once too, so I get a night of happy neighbors) and we just listened to the cicadas. The fireplace was awesome, too! I know not everyone enjoys fire in the summer, but I love watching movies with a fire going. AC worked so well we had to turn it up (which was kinda nice with the fire). Altogether we had a great stay for the whole week and would love to revisit in the future. Thank you!!
Communication with host was excellent, kind and informative as well as understanding. Cabin was beautiful, clean, spacious and fully equipped, everything you need for a family stay is there. Lets dont forget its about 10 min from Helen and trails we wanted to go during our stay, nice view of the outdoors , online pictures dont do justice of how pretty the cabin is.
Definitely renting this cabin for the summer.

Ambar,
Thank you for staying with us and the kind words. We would love to have you back the next time you are coming to Helen/Cleveland. Also, we just topped off a bunch of trees giving the hot tub and deck a n even better view of the mountains.
See you soon,
Greg & Stacy
Great trip away for me and my mom. A few things for renters to be aware of... driveway is VERY difficult to navigate without bottoming out when entering the"correct" way. My SUV bottomed out so a normal car would have never made it down that driveway. After that I drove in the exit and backed out. A bit dangerous - but my vehicle had surround cameras so I felt way more secure doing it that way. No way I was driving down the entrance to the driveway more than once! Other than that - the property was fantastic! My mom uses a cane and I shattered my kneecap a year ago so I was a little nervous about the entry to the cabin - but the hand rail was secure and there weren't many stairs and those there weren't steep. The cabin itself was very clean & the beds were comfortable. We had a great time visiting nearby vineyards and Helen. We didn't use the hottub but it appeared to be in working order. The fireplace worked and made things cozy. We didn't utilize the downstairs gameroom, laundry, or bedroom, but it would be nice for a larger group. Overall, other than the driveway and the fact that I missed out on seeing a bear :( we were very happy with the cabin!!

Thank you again for choosing our Cozy Cabin for your getaway. I am so sorry you felt the driveway was difficult. We are in the mountains but I will see if we can grade it for a less steep pitch. Thank You and have a great holiday season
There were a lot of issues with this property. The fire place has a huge hole in it. This says there are 2 twin beds and this place sleeps six. There’s was only 1 twin bed and the pull out couch was not able to used due to unidentifiable stains/debris. There were no views like listed on the posting. I would not recommend spending the money to stay here!
Misrepresented on vrbo sleep sofa had trash a dead bugs under cushions. No linens for sleep sofa.
Very overgrown. Not the view shown on vrbo. Could not walk outside around cabin. Stone around fireplace crumbling. Drive way needs work.

Needs some TLC
The cabin is nice but needs some maintenance. The game table was broken, the fireplace was broken, and when we checked in the hot tub was unplugged, dirty, and smelly. Someone came later that night and emptied it and refillled it, but because it takes so long to heat it couldn’t be used until the next day. It still smelled musty and probably needs a good cleaning. We plugged in the coffee pot and toaster and a fuse blew. Since the fuse box couldn’t be located I guess it is still off. We have stayed at many cabins in the Helen and Cleveland area and this experience was the worst. This cabin is way overpriced. We won’t be back.
Wonderful weekend! Everything was more than we expected. Very private, quiet and relaxing. TVs were upgraded and the jacuzzi was HOT! The driveway was a doozy but we loved it!
We had a great time of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation after 3 nights at the cabin. The beds(and bedding) were very comfortable, the kitchen spacious, and a great game area was in the basement. Though the upstairs shower was quite small, there are no complaints from these happy girls!
Loved this cabin, we all enjoyed the weekend. Thank goodness we were warned about the black bear that visits because he was hanging around the house for 2 days.
