The area is absolutely beautiful. The house is clean and cozy. Has everything that you need and then some. When I go back to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, I will be staying here again. I absolutely loved it.
We had a great stay in Fairfield Bay, AR. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was well-maintained, and the area felt peaceful and safe. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet escape. We’ll definitely be back!
This property worked out perfect. It’s nice and clean but very laid back and comfortable. The place is very roomy with a great living room and kitchen separating the 2 substantial bedrooms. I loved the deck on back and enjoyed watching wildlife. I would absolutely stay here again!!
This was a cozy house to stay in. We enjoyed the location and the baby loved the play area in living room. The kitchen faucet needs replaced and the blackstone grill was rusty. We loved the patios but couldn't use 1 because rain. The beds were super comfortable and pillows were great. Great vacation!
My family and I stayed 4 full days, and we could not ask for better accomodations. It is very nice and has plenty of comfortable beds, movie streaming, full kitchen, washer/dryer, blackstone griddle, close to the pools and bowling alley, very convenient to access all Fairfield Bay amenities, restaurants, and grocery store.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful. Would have liked there to be an iron and ironing board, but made do with the dryer doing what we needed. One of the listed amenities when I booked was a hot tub which was one of the factors of why I chose this location. When I inquired, the host replied quickly and courteously that one is not available. Overall it was a great place to stay and definitely would stay there again!
Suited the entire weekend well. The place was set to vacation! The morning time birds and deer were amazing! We want to come back every year! Super clean and spacious. VERY SAFE with visible cam areas everywhere displaying inside.
Great property for a Girlfriend Vacation- the neighborhood is both in the country and close enough to everything to be convenient. Beds are very comfortable, ranging from quite soft to quite firm, so something to suit everyone! A big plus- the knives in the kitchen are actually sharp- a rarity in vacation rentals. We did not end up using the pools, as they are a bit of a drive, it was somewhat cool weather, and the pools are not heated. But not a big deal! We ended up cooking, sitting on the deck for hours, and watching movies!
I couldn’t even stay here with my family. I’m still waiting on a refund. House and neighborhood were ran down and felt unsafe. The owner of the property said she would mail me a check for a refund and 3 months later I still haven’t received a dime back. Customers beware

I am sorry you were disappointed. My family and I cherish our time together at our quirky little cabin we worked so hard on as a family in the Bay.
Fairfield Bay is a lakefront retirement community and a majority of our sweet neighbors are indeed of retirement age and although the landscape is mostly natural green space it is far from “run down”. It was the first rental neighborhood built by Mr. Waters way back when.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to offer you a complete discount because all 5 of the beds had been rumpled in the middle as if they were jumped on so they had to be laundered. The bathrooms both had used linens in them and the potties had to be cleaned again as well as the bathroom rugs because of stains. The floors had to be re-cleaned as dirt had been tracked into the house. There was also a dirty pair of boys underwear and socks on the floor by the bunk beds.
By the time the bookkeeper was working on writing you a refund check, minus the cleaning fee, you had reversed the charges and VRBO took the $ back out of our account including the cleaning fee, so I no longer have your money and haven’t for 2 months now. Although, I still had to have the housekeeper clean before I could rent it again.
Again, sorry our cabin didn’t meet your expectations. It is represented exactly as it is in real life. I think it’s clear by all the reviews on this site and others that you are an outlier and 99.9% love their stay at our cozy little cabin as much as we do.
My family and I wanted to do something different for the Christmas holiday, while also celebrating my husbands birthday. During booking we had some issues with VRBO I spoke with Suzy and she helped to put my mind at ease and was very responsive when going back and forth with VRBO. Arrival day, everything was as described. Suzie provide a list of things to do in the area and eatery's. It was a rainy trip, but we took a trip to see the waterfalls in the area and drove an hour to the Ozark National Forest to see more waterfalls and hike. It was absolutely beautiful. We also went to the bowling alley close to the house. That was fun, but the food was not great at all. My husband grilled on Saturday morning for dinner and we played games that were provided on the shelf. I'm so thankful for this trip, my family and I were able to bond and enjoy what nature offered.
The house was very clean and decorated so cute! The beds are very comfortable! The back porch is very big and has comfortable seats to sit in. You can sit out and watch the neighbors chickens! The neighbor is a retired police officer and he gave us some eggs from his chickens! The only suggestion I have is to get either WiFi or cable. My husband watches alot of TV in the evening. He mainly watches news and I found a way to get him to watch movies on the iTunes but he still was not fully satisfied. I don't know if that would be a possibility in the area but I think it would be great. Thank you again for an awesome stay!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. There have been crews laying fiber all over town for the last couple of months so we will hopefully have access to reliable WiFi very soon. Glad you found and enjoyed all the movies. Take care and come again!
