The cottage was super clean, comfy and so cute. They had everything we need. The location was great and we felt safe there. I hope we can come back soon.
Cozy 1 bedroom apartment, big enough for a small family. Living room, and kitchen seem to be recently updated. Easy access to town, and right off the interstate.
This property's location is super - right near downtown and very walkable. The cottage was clean and fresh. It felt like a retreat.
The property owner was very responsive.
I definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.
My husband and I stayed two nights. Place is exactly like pictures and discriptions , small but certainly adequate for a short time. It was very clean. We liked Hendersonville. Enjoyed eating at Arabella’s for breakfast and at Shine.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was just big enough for my husband and I. We were pleased to see two chairs out on the front porch to enjoy our coffee in the morning even though it was not pictured. Being 10-15 mins walking distance from downtown was a huge plus for us!! The host was very responsive also. Would definitely book again if we come back with friends as there are multiple units next to each other.
We liked this cottage so much last time we were in Hendersonville that we stayed again this time. It's a lovely, compact, vintage cottage with a modern kitchen and full-size appliances. The bed is great. Everything is CLEAN! It's exactly what you need at a great price. We love walking from the cabin down to Main Street for a leisurely breakfast al fresco. The hosts are very helpful and kind! A great "home base" for whatever you want to do in the area.
The Red Door Cottage looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and well appointed. We walked to Main Street multiple times during our stay. It was an easy 10 minute walk. Great TV and comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting on the little front porch in the afternoons before walking to dinner. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. Great communication with the hostess.
We had a week between events we were attending and stayed at this little house. It was amazing. As described and very quiet. Easy access to all our needs, groceries, restaurants. We both worked remotely in the mornings till about noon and then went out sightseeing. No problems with the internet with 2 of us working. We would stay there again if in the area. I'm sorry Sarah for posting this so late. Life happened when I got back to Texas.
Cute property and easy access to everything. The one worry, which wasn’t an issue was the mini split a/c. We sleep with it very cold and the mini split is in the living room. Ended up working great for us because the nights were still cool. We probably wouldn’t have been comfortable otherwise. I can’t imagine it during the peak of summer. But property was clean, easy access, quiet.
Splurge and buy 100% cotton sheets. The polyester sheets are cheap and don’t breathe. I felt clammy when I got up in the mornings.

checkin was 3:00 and i arrived 4 ish and had to text owner for code. Front porch covered with leaves and had to clean before walking in. The place looks good at first glance. Look closer and wall paper is peeling off wall, The upper kitchen cabinets are beat up what looked like particle board with fresh cat of paint, in fact most of the unit is dinged and beatup just with a fresh coat of paint. cheaply done and nothing is completly finished. Pillows were so hard and thick, I used folded blankets.

Not clean at check-in
While the accommodations were fine and the location was quiet, the unit had not been cleaned when we checked in. We immediately contacted the host who responded that she would get it cleaned, so we left to give them time to do so. 2 1/2 hours later someone shows up to clean, so we waited on the dated and unclean porch in the rain. Ultimately, the porch was never cleaned, the linens and towels weren’t comfortable/good quality, but the unit was quiet and we got a bottle of wine for our inconvenience. Since we paid for cleaning service and it wasn’t cleaned properly, we think we should have been compensated.
