Why Janice Kavanagh chose Belmont
Charlottesville is a wonderful city which I call home and the Bungalow is ideally located, and easy walk to the city's downtown, shops, restaurants and farmer's market. I love the Belmont neighborhood with many beautiful homes and walk-able to just about everywhere in the city, UVA is approximately 2 miles away.
What makes this Bungalow unique
On a quiet residential street, but only minutes by foot to just about everything in the city: restaurants, theatre, shops, trails, historic monuments, UVA and sporting arenas are close by. Monticello Trail that leads you to Monticello is just a five minute drive. Carter's Mountain which is adjacent to Monticello is clearly visible from the front porch of the Bungalow which offers lovely sunrises. You get the best of both worlds, close to the city so you don't even need a car, but you have the benefit of staying on quiet residential street without all the traffic and noise. Large front porch elevated off the street is ideal for relaxing, watching the sunrise and enjoying your morning coffee!

Very comfortable and great quiet location. Owner was a pleasure to work with and very helpful with suggestions for dining, directions and parking. Hope to get back again.
Nice stay in C’ville
The house is very clean and well taken care of. Comfy linens and towels. The property does not have a kitchen. Has a microwave and refrigerator and is stocked with bottled water, coffee, tea, bars, fruit which is a nice touch. Enjoyed our stay!
Came in from Raleigh for anniversary weekend trip. Great stay.
We could not have asked for a better home base for our girls' weekend to Charlottesville. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet and walkable with great restaurants right at the end of the street. The Downtown Mall is also only a 10 minute walk away, which was perfect for dinner both nights we were there. As for the house, it is so cute and comfortable and nicely decorated. Janice has made it so welcoming and cozy. If and when we go back to Charlottesville, we will definitely be staying here again!
Jill, It was lovely hosting you ladies. Hope to see you again on a future visit.

Outstanding! The property is close to UVA , restaurants and historical downtown. Fresh flowers in all the rooms! Janice is a true hostess!
