Private and Secluded Beachfront House on Deserted Pink Sand Beach

Welcome to Villa Atlantic Sunrise, a large and tranquil beachfront property with 250 feet of private beachfront with a spectacular view from our large porch on a miles-long deserted pink sand beach. Villa Atlantic Sunrise is ideal for anyone who likes the feeling of privacy in a beautiful ocean and beach landscape. Help and assistance is close if needed, but you will not be disturbed if you don't want to be. You can watch the sunrise directly from your bed! Atlantic Sunrise has no neighbors to the south for a mile. To the north is one neighbor, but the foliage in between provides for complete privacy, and the beach is always deserted.

This property has excellent snorkeling right off the beach in front of the house. For those who enjoy walking along the beach, you can walk for miles on our beach in either direction. The beachfront restaurant/bar called The Deck is on this beach, a nice long walk to the south.

SPECIAL ENERGY CONSERVATION REBATE: For guests who stay with us in May through September, we will rebate you $100 per week if you use less than 5 Kwh per week of electricity!

This spacious house (2600 square feet) features an expansive great room with spectacular beach and ocean views from the living area, dining area, and kitchen. The living area features a 10-foot sliding glass wall looking out at the ocean. The room is furnished with a teak dining set, a rattan couch set, a rocking chair and side boards/shelfs, with a TV.

Atlantic Sunrise has a large open kitchen with a countertop facing the great room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, glass-top range, coffee machine, blender, toaster, microwave, ice crusher, pots and pans of different sizes, and more. The counter tops are elegantly finished with French tiles.

Villa Atlantic Sunrise has two bedrooms, both with views of the beach and ocean. The king-bed master suite, like the great room, features a 10-foot sliding glass wall looking out at the ocean. The guest bedroom also has a king bed. Both wooden frame beds are equipped with high quality mattresses, one firm and one medium-firm, depending on your preferences. Both bedrooms have large full baths with double sinks and showers. The master suite also has a luxurious over-sized tub.

Note: There is an extra twin bed (a very high quality rollaway) that can be placed in one of the two bedrooms or in the living room.

The oceanfront veranda is ideal for watching the sunrise, the sea, or the stars. It is roofed for shade and furnished with a teak dining set. There is an outdoor shower beside it. Walk off your veranda and across your yard and right onto a miles-long deserted pink sand beach.

Atlantic Sunrise is fully air conditioned. There are also ceiling fans in all rooms. The house is equipped with a washing machine. Your clothes will dry quickly and naturally on the clothes line in the ocean breeze. There is charcoal grill outside for open-air grilling, and a dining set on the ocean-view veranda for outdoor dining. The house comes with two hammocks. Villa Atlantic Sunrise is a perfect spot for hammock time with the sound of the ocean to put you to sleep. The yard also has a lovely shady palm garden of mature coconut palm trees.

We provide high speed internet with WIFI, telephone (for calls within Eleuthera), radio, and an HD smart TV. Should you wish to hear your own music, or watch TV or movies with your computer, just connect your laptop with to our smart TV. Cable TV is not available at this location.

Villa Atlantic Sunrise is less than 15 minutes from Governor's Harbour, the main town on the island, which has excellent restaurants, including famous Tippy's, grocery stores, coffee shop, a dive shop, gift shops, and a lovely collection of historic homes. James Cistern, just 5 minutes in the other direction, has two grocery stores, a gas station, and three restaurants. Fresh seafood is often available at the town dock.

Sky Beach Club's excellent restaurant with poolside service and swim up bar is less than 10 minutes away. Leo Rose restaurant, Delish Restaurant, the Conch Hut, and Mel's Snack Shack are just 5 minutes away in the town of James Cistern.

Atlantic Heaven

This was our second visit to Atlantic Sunrise. It is a perfect spot to relax, walk miles of empty beach, and play in the waves. The views are beautiful. The home has been made even better by the addition of some amazing furniture pieces and incredible wall art. It is feeling a bit more updated. Linda is always available to give help or answer questions. We shall return.It feels like home!

wonderful trip, ideal location and great people to deal with

We had a wonderful time at Atlantic Sunrise. Our 5th time to Eleuthera, always over new years. The house is perfectly situated mid-Eleuthera, so a good jumping off spot for exploring north and south. Beach in front is near deserted and reasonable snorkeling just off the beach (when surf is not too rough – if so, west side will be calm). House is appointed typical of out islands. Comfortable, everything you really need in kitchen and otherwise, has starlink wifi plus UPS backup power, and porch facing the ocean. Caretaker (Linda) was wonderful to deal with. Also, folks at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals have always been easy to work with and attentive. Highly recommended.

Paradise Found

What an idyllic piece of paradise! The lovely home with its gorgeous views and refreshing breezes was pristinely clean thanks to Linda! We loved the breezy porch surrounded with coconut trees with glimpses of the aqua colored waters. The house appeared recently painted and updated. It was well outfitted and included snorkeling gear as well. The beach was deserted and the water entrance sandier than some with great snorkeling. It’s one of those places you wish you could stay at forever. We will be back.

Property was absolutely beautiful! During our week we saw a total of 5 people on our miles long beach. Being in close proximity to Governor's Harbour was convenient.The Villa terrace was the place to be while there, as refreshing trade winds were 24/7. We never ran out of water but had to be extremely prudent when using because sometimes the shower or kitchen faucet would suddenly stop. As our week progressed we were able to manage it. AC worked exceptionally well. The Washing machine did not work. The staff were very helpful!

The house is spacious with large windows everywhere to provide lots of light and sunrise views. The big 10' glass doors off the master and living room were especially nice. The new deck recliners were a plus as the back covered porch is a great place to do work, play games, or just relax. The Starlink WiFi was amazing as well. There were lots of coconuts to cut open and eat if you can get them down and know how to wield a machete! Delicious!Some notes: The kitchen furnishings are adequate but not overly stocked--no tin foil or cookie sheet to cover items baking.If you really want/like to snorkle, bring your own gear. All in all, we loved it here.

Perfect Location from which to Tour Eleuthera!

This cottage was just as advertised - spacious, nicely appointed and well-equipped with everything needed for a lengthy stay. The location is isolated, but near enough to towns to make trips for groceries or meals fairly quick. The sunrises in the mornings were spectacular! The yard is really nice as is the access path to the beach. However the high tides made for a fairly high bluff from which it was hard to get down onto the actual beach. We found a ladder to use for the access, so made it fine - you just have to be a little creative! (Maybe a platform with steps would be helpful...) The palms are gorgeous and the property, though dated, it well-maintained. The electricity did go off at various random times during our stay, but never really impacted us - and that is just part of being on this island - it is under no control of the property managers. All in all, we will recommend this property to others. We had a nice stay.

Your own private beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd year we've booked and will never go anywhere else. The rooms are nice and large, clean, it cools down quickly and has a very large covered porch which is your 2nd living room. It's just beautiful and the yard is very lush but maintained. There is small sand path to the beach which is about as good as you would want. Huge sandy beach with calm enough waters. You need to get past the shore breaks, but most are in super shallow water. The water is crystal clear. There are rocks to navigate but you can go in pretty far before them. If you want privacy and pure beach time with a house with some space, this is perfect. The house is well maintained. Highly recommend. The location is convenient because James Cistern is just up the road with a few good places to eat and drink, groceries and liquor. Governors Harbor is also close, about 10 minutes.

Beautiful Views

What a wonderful house and a wonderful location. We just spent a week at Atlantic Sunrise and enjoyed every minute. The house is spacious and we really appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms, since it was a little hot for us at night. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture comfortable. We loved the views from the porch of the waves crashing on the pink sand beach, which is just at the end of the garden. Linda, the housekeeper, was very friendly and extremely helpful. The house is about 15 minutes from Governor’s Harbour, where we found everything that we needed, good restaurants etc. Plus we were able to visit some of the other lovely beaches around the island – such as Ten Bay Beach and Jack’s Bay. One suggestion – since the internet access appears to be somewhat unreliable (it didn’t work the whole time we were there plus see earlier review), maybe don’t advertise it, and then people won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t work. Also provide a TV and DVD player, so that people can have some entertainment at night, if the internet is down. Overall – I’d certainly recommend the house to others looking for a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

We've rented homes on both sides of the island, this location is my favorite. It is very private, although near the airport we only heard one plane take off the entire time we were there and we were swimming at the time. Don't be fooled by the proximity, it is a very peaceful location. You'll also appreciate the location when it's time to leave. It's also very close to the grocery stores in James Cistern and Governors Harbor. The house itself if well furnished with everything you need to prepare dinner or just hang out with the family. We really appreciated the amazing sunrises each morning. We spent many hours on the porch watching the waves and enjoying the ocean breezes. We are divers and love the water, the reef in front of the house is probably one of the nicest that is reachable from shore. Don't read the travel guides, no other reef we visited on our previous trips comes close the life on the reef in front of the home. This reef is truly a hidden gem, maybe not anymore. We spent hours each day, even after returning from dive trips, snorkeling in front of the house. Beach is clean and private.The caretaker was very responsive to any needs we had during our stay as was Matthew @ Eleuthera Vacation Rentals.I want to thank the owners for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home.

Wonderful Location

We had a wonderful stay at Atlantic Sunrise. The location was beautiful, being on the ridge above the beach. We enjoyed sitting in the bedroom and watching the waves break on the beach. Kim and Jason made the booking process smooth. Linda, the housekeeper was very helpful, calling to check we settled in and asking if we needed anything. Overall our trip was quiet and restful. Some of the few restaurants were closed as we traveled during COVID. We most enjoyed what this island has to offer: natural beauty, warm waters, and quiet beaches.

The caretaker contact was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. The rooms are huge and reasonably furnished. The villa was clean as a whistle on arrival. All appliances worked. Dishware, cutlery, and cookware were sufficient for our needs. The deck areas were spacious, and often used. The beach was excellent for walking, though access became tricky after some sand erosion as a result of prolonged onshore winds. James Cistern is only a five minute drive, and has several decent stores for shopping, and a gas station. Governor's Harbour is 15 minutes by car. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

It Has a beautiful back porch into the side and a lovely beach view to the side. The houses is set back a bit from the beach making it difficult to hear or feel the ocean. There are two air-conditioners one in each bedroom but none in the living areas or bathrooms. Normally we are very tolerant of heat. We were there during a very hard time at a time and there is no breeze blowing through the house so other than the bedrooms the rest of the house reach 90 and was almost unlivable. So sadly we rented a huge house and mostly hung out in the best when there. I’m sure you’re in cooler months it may be a breeze it was through.

The short path to the beach had shrubs and we really could not see the house to the north. There was no one sharing that beach. My wife walked every day all the way south to where she could see some of the Navy base structure. No people. Bring your own source of music if you like music, or news. We bring a very small radio to listen to news (ZNS) but forgot our Bluetooth speakers. Too windy on the beach? Cross the highway to Alabaster. Also, the projector worked great once I figured things out.

This villa provided the perfect integration of private but also access to great restaurants and activities. You will need to rent a car to get around to the eateries, because it is pretty isolated. We LOVED that, we were at the villa for five days and never saw a person on the beach! The water is crazy beautiful and we just kept saying "Wow!" The breeze on the porch made it our favorite place to hang out, and cooled things down a bit. Linda was very nice, but we never needed anything so didn't have much interaction with her. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. In a nutshell, if you love privacy but also great places to eat and things to do- this is your place. We are grateful to God for His beautiful creation and grateful to have stayed in this wonderful place.

The house is a little outdated and could use some minor repairs but overall not a deal breaker. The windows and doors all have screens enabling us to keep them open during the day and keep bugs out. The back porch faces the Atlantic Ocean and was a two min walk to a beautiful beach. We were there a week and didn’t see another person on it. The sunrises were spectacular and during low tide there were opportunities for shell hunting. The only negative things during our stay was the miscommunication for checking in. We received a very detailed letter explaining the ins and outs of eh house, and that The property caretaker would meet us to show us around. We emailed her and didn’t get much response. Upon arrival I called her and she said the keys were in the house. Also, we were asked to fill a water container before leaving for the next guests, however, it was nearly empty when we arrived. Make sure you bring a hairdryer and if you need to do laundry, it’s hang dry only as there is not a dryer. Both bedrooms have a wall AC unit which were perfect for sleeping. Overall, we loved this property and would love to rent again in the future!
