The Rustic Bunkhouse is located at Cottonwood Creek Cabins. Just 10 mins south of Alpine, TX. This is an amazingly private getaway for up to 6 guests. Our property is tucked away in a quiet valley. You are not just getting a comfy home but, also a west Texas experience, with access to our 30 acre property. Whether you are looking to just relax from the fast pace of the city or if you want a central hub for all that the area has to offer, this is the ideal place to be. Full kitchen and bathroom.

Amazing and unique space offering sleeping for up to 6 guests. Full kitchen and 1 full bathroom. Kitchen is stocked with everything to make a meal. Pots, pans, silverware, toaster, microwave etc..Coffee pot, coffee and filters are included.

SUMMER SEASON (April-September). There are 4 window AC units in this home during the warm summer months, a fan in both lofts and 2 ceiling fans. The bunkhouse has electric base board heaters during winter season (October-March).

No Open Flames or Fires: No open fires, including propane grills due to frequent county wide fire bans and high risk of wildfire.

No smoking on trails. *Smoking permitted only on private outdoor areas - use butt buckets for ashes and disposal of cigarette*

Pets: A maximum of 1 friendly dog is welcome subject to a $45 non refundable pet fee. Dogs must be on leash at all times, and placed in crate if ever left unattended. Also you will be on 30 acres with other guests on the property who might have pets, and there is a risk for wildlife activity so owners assume all risk for property damage, altercations with wildlife, other pets or humans. Guests who do not comply will be requested to leave immediately.

Great little place. Quiet, comfortable and clean. Great view of stars on a clear night. Nice little trail on property for a good little walk. I would stay here again.

Great Stay

Great stay at this well laid out cabin centrally located not far from numerous Big Bend region and West Texas sites of interest. We really enjoyed the country setting and beautiful night sky. Outstanding value compared to other area rentals and very responsive hosts. Our family of 6 loved it here.

Lots of Room

Enjoyed the stay. Cabin had everything we needed. Though there were only two of us, it certainly could accommodate up to six. Very clean. Nice and quiet. There was property with trails that allowed us a place to walk the dogs. It had deer passing thru the property. Could see the Milky Way at night. The instructions said the TV had Roku, but there were no remotes to operate the Roku. Instructions were texted at 2:01 pm the day of check-in. Unfortunately WiFi was sketchy at best and we had to drive almost back to Alpine to get reception, in order to open the email. So stop in Alpine, TX to open the instructions for entering the property. But a good experience.
