Great Location

This property was in a great location, just minutes from town, we were able to see the best of what Costa Rican wildlife had to offer. The property was extremely well kept and clean. The owner was super friendly.

Wonderful visit to Sámara!

Mike’s casitas were perfect! Very clean and the beds were comfy! We really loved the outdoor kitchen and lovely pool! Mike is an excellent host and was very friendly and accommodating! It’s nice to be close to Sámara, but yet quiet enough to enjoy the serenity, birds and monkeys howling in the distance! We highly recommend MIke’s Casitas!

Samara January 2024

There were six of us between 65 and 70 years of age. We thoroughly enjoyed Casa Vistas del Rio. The rooms were clean, the AC worked great. The kitchen was very efficient with plenty of room for 6 people and the big canopy gave great shade. The pool was fantastic. Mike went out of his way to orient us to Samara (first trip to CR for us) and was a terrific guide. The property is well managed and cared for. Can’t think of any concerns at all. Would highly recommend renting all 3 casitas and making the place your own. At the great price point we were also able to rent Mike’s side-by-side which is great fun. Only 5 minutes to Roots Bakery yummy. It is hot hot here so do the tourist stuff in the morning and relax by the pool in the afternoon. 5 star rating. Thanks, Mike
