An ideal base to explore Seattle. The unit comes with Wi-Fi, self check-in, and plenty of space. During your stay, you can also enjoy using our outdoor patio and media room. Our unit is within walking distance to several popular restaurants, shops, and parks.

This charming classic brick Tudor is a rare find in Seattle. Remodeled to take advantage of light, this picturesque home boasts vaulted ceilings, original wood, leaded glass windows, studio space and a fireplace. The landscaped grounds provide a quiet retreat with a deck perfect for lounging.

Guests will have access to the entire home and back yard.

Green Lake is a neighborhood in North Central Seattle, Washington. Its centerpiece is the lake and park after which it is named. There are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks in the area. There is also a grocery store (Safeway) 2 blocks away. Additionally, 2 blocks away you'll find tennis courts at the Froula Playground.

Link Light Rail

The closest light rail location to the home is the Roosevelt Station. It's 5 blocks away on the corner of 66th St and 12th Ave NE. It’s located about .4 miles away, or a 9 minute walk. The light rail offers easy access to downtown’s Pike Place Market, boardwalks, Ferris wheel and more. You can also take the light rail directly to the stadium at UW, downtown, or the airport.

Whenever I have enough time, I always take the light rail to the airport because it costs $3 vs $35-$65 Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind, it will take you about 10 minutes to the station from the home by foot and another 50 mins to get from the station to the airport. It will help you avoid heavy traffic if that may be an issue too.

Uber & Lyft

The fastest and most reliable mode of transportation in our opinion. Simply download the App and go. Uber/Lyft Driver’s are always minutes away and cost an average of $5-10 per ride.

Turo & Car2Go

You can rent a car with car sharing apps by downloading Turo or the Car2Go app.

Parking

Street parking is available and is usually pretty ample. Please note, this home does not come with a parking spot. We don’t typically allow parking in the driveway as it’s very small (105” wide X 230” long). You can use it if you feel comfortable with how steep and narrow it is but again, the home is listed without having a parking spot.

Please note, there are several stairs you'll have to take to enter the home. There are 18 steps into the house and 14 stairs up to lofted area.

This home does not come with a parking spot. We’d recommend street parking. Free street parking can be found directly in front of the home and is usually pretty easy to find. Absolutely No Parties. If any glitter or confetti is found after your stay, you will be charged an additionally cleaning fee and possibly negative review for not following our house guidelines.

Lastly, Seattle is one of the least air conditioned cities in the US, with only 33% of households having it because historically, we haven’t needed it. Obviously things have changed and it can get warm here. The home does not have central A/C but we have a rolling A/C unit for the loft. Additionally, we have provided fans for each of the bedrooms and two larger fans for the lofted area. Other than what’s provided we do not provide refunds outside of the refund window due to weather.

**Important:** We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. You'll be required to pay for a $35 Damage Waiver or you have the option to Pre-authorize up to $500 to be charged in case of accidental damage with a Non-refundable $15 transaction fee, in addition to the reservation cost. Please take this fee in consideration before booking.
Please no shoes in the house.

Guests can check-in anytime after 4 pm

Check-out time is at 11am sharp. A late checkout may be possible if requested before 11am on the day of checkout, for an additional fee of $30 fee per hour. The absolute latest we may be able to accommodate is 1pm (again, this has to be requested!)

Any guest that stays past 1pm on their checkout date, may be charged for an additional night and a fee for rescheduling the cleaner.

We also have a strict no smoking policy. If we find evidence of smoking of any kind inside the home, you will be charged a $500 fine. You’re welcome to smoke outside of the home as long as it’s 15 feet from the property.
