Our lovely mom lives next door. She raised three boys by working part time and also running a small food business. She loves people but also loves her privacy as most of us do. Once she started hosting this way, so many guests have fallen in love with herr and she them and they still visit on occasion and even send Christmas Cards. This interaction is super cute to experience when I visit. She is a natural at this and she may even offer you a nice warm meal on occasion if you'd like that.
