Take the road less traveled. A short distance on a winding, dirt road through the woods will take you to this quiet, secluded destination. This little get-away is nestled in the heart of the woods, yet is only 9.2 miles from West Glacier, Montana - the entrance to Glacier National Park.
The Flathead River here in northwest Montana is designated as a “Wild and Scenic River” and includes the North Fork, Middle Fork and South Fork - the names of the three vacation units available in this triplex cabin. With three private units, this is a great option for group travelers wanting to be together and yet still have their own space, or can be utilized singularly and privately. There are two 6” thick walls and two dead-bolting doors separating each unit.
With the quiet woods all around, this is a great place to unwind and settle in.

Everything about our trip to Montana was amazing. Couldn’t say more about Spotted Bear Retreat. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and our cabin was so beautiful and clean. Highly recommend. John the owner was always available and friendly.
We really enjoyed our short stay here at Spotted Bear. The location was great being close to the west entrance of Glacier and Columbia Falls where we got dinner one night. Check in/out was easy and the photos/description accurately portray the property. Will definitely recommend to others!
Quiet, private location surrounded by beautiful evergreens. Outside private patio w/firepit and grill. Interior is up to date with beautiful rustic charm. King size bed was comfortable and room was air-conditioned with remote control! Kitchen had all the amenities. We loved our stay! John is a wonderful host!
Quiet, remote but easy to access West Glacier and other areas of interest and restaurants/stores. Loved having laundry on site and internet access was good! Pictures and description accurately reflect the accommodations.

This place is perfect if you are interested in exploring Glacier Park and the Whitefish area. The hosts were extremely accommodating and their dog expects tummy rubs. You won’t be disappointed.
Very nice accommodations, clean and well maintained. Having a washer and dryer was a plus.
John was easy to reach with any questions. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Spotted Bear Retreat. Very comfortable and spacious lodging for 2 adults. Loved the Montana decor. Too rainy in the evenings to enjoy the grill and fire pit but the patio was a nice touch. The street number is a little hard to spot, but the location is nice and not far from town and Glacier N. P.
The property was very clean, quiet & comfortable. It was tucked away from everything, which meant it was a bit of a drive off of the main road. But it was still quick to get to Glacier and surrounding areas. We stayed for 4 nights and had everything we needed to make meals & do laundry. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!
We enjoyed a six night stay at the secluded Spotted Bear Resort. This resort was clean, appeared to be newly built and furnished and was only a 15 minute drive to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. It was also close to Columbia Falls, about a 15 min drive.Air conditioning and also heated, one TV and a side patio and fire pit we enjoyed many evenings. We normally cook but didn’t this time but a full kitchen was available if you chose to. We would stay here again if we go back to Glacier!
Clean and cozy apartment in a quiet, secluded location was perfect for our Glacier National Park trip. It's about 20 minutes from the park entrance and almost as long to a grocery store, so you might want to stop for groceries in Columbia Falls on your way there. The owner even helped us pump up our low tires!
Overall great stay, nice floor plan, extremely clean and contact with host was excellent! Having Wi-Fi was a huge plus and it was about 20 minutes from Glacier National Park. You do go down a long dirt road and there is another rental to the right and some up on the hill above that you can see from the property. Not a problem for us just awareness for those who think it's a secluded only you place, because it's not. But absolutely a great place to stay.
