Cozy and well appointed. Photos accurately depict stunning views and proximity to the river which is only a few short steps away. The property is in a completely quiet and rural setting while maintaining convenient access to Columbia Falls unlike most other options on the Flathead as you continue going north. The hosts graciously accommodated some last minute special requests that they could have justifiably charged us for but elected not to.
From the minute we pulled into the driveway, we knew it was going to be a perfect place for us. We made Reservations for 4 days, with the intentions of going to Glacier National Park for 3 of the days. We went the first day. It was beautiful, but we decided that this place was so wonderful and beautiful in its own right, that we didn't need to make the trek back to the park! Seriously, just the most wonderful place to unwind and enjoy life for as long as you are able to do so. Carol and Tom have furnished the home with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Beds, pillows, blankets, were all so comfy! And the views! OMG, we couldn't ask for more. Communication was perfect, as was check in and check out. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back this way!
Love the very nice rustic location of cabin with a wonderful view of the mountains & river, well maintained, accompanied by modern amenities & well stocked pantry. The welcome sign & gifts were a nice personal touch & greatly appreciated. The owners were very accommodating & prompt with responses. I wish my family & I could have stayed longer to really soak in this place but glad to have experienced the wonders of the Glacier National Park.

About the host
Hosted by Tom and Carol Ladenburg
Our names are Tom and Carol Ladenburg. We are both native to the Flathead Valley, raised in Columbia Falls. We have four children and four grandchildren.
Why they chose this property
To us, this is a very special place. We've spent many days either fishing, swimming or floating the river. Many family gatherings have taken place here, sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, waving to passing floaters and fishermen, and seeing wildlife.
What makes this property unique
You never know what wildlife you may see. Mornings and evenings are best. We've watched wolves chase elk into the river on more than one occasion. It is a peaceful and serene place.
