Small Farm Cottage

We had a very pleasant stay. It is a quiet location and decorated nicely. It’s a very scenic area. The host was friendly too.

My husband Tommy and I are graduates and active alum of VA Tech. We came to Culpeper from Northern Va to be near family and to begin our farming adventure four years ago. I enjoy hosting guests and always strive to provide a five star guest experience! My greatest compliment is wecoming return guests to Little Red Hen Cottage or hosting them in our New Orleans property also available to book.

Our little part of central Virginia is on quiet rolling farm land but close to a wide variety of vineyards, trail hiking, breweries and antiques.

What makes this property unique

At Rare Air Farm, we welcome you to walk our farm and see what's in season when you visit. We grow and harvest blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries for starters. We also have fruit trees including apple, peach, nectarine and plum. There is also a vegetable garden with a big variety of foods grown till harvest each year.
