Amazing experience very clean property. Beautiful home with anything you could need for your stay. Helpful host if anything was needed during the stay I knew I could contact the host.
This home was perfect for our short stay in St. Louis. The space was adequate for a small dinner with friends and provided plenty of space for us to socialize, play games, and relax. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were clean and spacious. The host responded timely and answered all of our questions. The floors were a little questionable as far as cleanliness goes but did not take away from us being able to enjoy ourselves. We will definitely book again when in the area.
This is a great house for a family. There is plenty of space for multiple kids and adults. Nice common areas that support many activities. Highly recommend this property for a fun long weekend trip to explore St Louis area with convenient location for access to all of area.
Over all good lace to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Few more updates needed. Not a lot of extras for home that can service a group or ur size, 9, and bigger. We would stay again.
This was a great experience. Communication was great and I felt safe to have my family there for a small get together. I really appreciate the experience!!
Older ranch that has undergone renovations. House was very spacious with comfortable furniture and furnishings. Kitchen was new and spacious but could use more eating utensils. Backyard was perfect for pets.
Great to have everyone together for mom’s funeral.
Two nights with 9 adults and one toddler. Plenty of space and affordable especially considering multiple hotel rooms. Comfortable gathering space and coffee was even provided.
Throughly enjoyed this property!!! Just as advertised LOTS of space. Easy access, great communications with the property manager. I would not hesitate to rent again when in St Louis
We stay with other families while at a dance comp weekend. The check in process and communication was easy and very good communication. Neighborhood was great. Easy access for us and where the comp was. Only thing really was bring an extra blanket if you get cold at all. There are no extras or bigger blankets available. Would recommend for groups or large families.
Property was clean. Host was very transparent. Check in process and access to property was very easy. Lots of space. Perfect for what we needed. Large backyard also. Quiet neighborhood.
St. Louis is half for us and our family in KS. Was able to meet here with my brother, sister and families for a quick weekend. House was a good size for the amount of people, lots of seating and room for kids to get energy out in backyard and basement. Even though there were only two bathrooms, they were spacious and nice. Worked great for what we needed.
Wonderfully updated, comfortable and clean. Property exactly as described. Perfect for large/multiple families. Close to shopping/highway. Quiet neighborhood. A++
Living rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were great. A little deceiving with the 3 beds in the basement being air mattresses, but plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids to spread out.
This is a very safe neighborhood with plenty of room for adults and kids to be in separate areas. The backyard was nice and big for the kids to play in. It was nice to have a garage to fit cars into as well as safe street parking. One thing that was tricky was the lack of kitchen items such as containers to put leftovers in, plastic bags and having enough silverware for everyone. We had a group of 12 and we couldn't all use a spoon at one time. I would just remember to bring my own if we stayed here again. (Also, there is a high pitched noise on the main level that gave the kids a headache. None of the adults could hear it.)
The property suited our needs when it came to space. The communication with the host was a bit rocky and everyday needed items such as a trash bag were not easily accessible. There was a high pitch ringing coming from the kitchen that was giving guests a headache, but nothing was done besides the host informing us that most people just don’t hear the noise even though they acknowledged it.Space wise, I would stay here again. I would prefer a better effort to communicate and fix problems before they become problems for renters.
Pros: nice, open floor plan, plenty of linens & towels, nice TVs with streaming services, comfy couches on main floor & basement, location in close driving distance to many attractions, nice makeup mirror in basement bathroom, home was clean (others complained about but we had a clean home upon arrival).
Cons: air mattresses, not regular beds, in the 2 basement rooms (only 3 main level rooms have beds), need home instruction book-(we never figured out how to turn on main level living room light and had to use YouTube to figure out how to lock the door from outside), early check-out (10am). Home needs the following items: can opener, 9x12 pan, large skillet, larger dining table.
Overall, we enjoyed our time here and with a few tweaks this rental could be 5 star.
We liked almost everything about this property. It is dated but it is priced appropriately. The location is excellent, the neighborhood is safe, it is clean and updated. The problem is the basement. There are two bedrooms and neither have egress windows. They do have smoke/CO2 alarms so that helps mitigate some of the safety concerns. Because of the lack of egress windows, the beds downstairs are blowup mattresses but are of excellent quality. The hosts are some of the best we have had. They quickly got back to us with questions and problems. And, they want feedback to improve the property. We like to cook; the kitchen lacked a few basic tools for cooking and baking. We had to donate a few things.
This home was easily big enough to fit my family of 8 - 5 adults, 3 children. The children and young adults enjoyed having their own space downstairs in the game/TV area and adjoining bedrooms. It was extremely clean and comfortable. They allow pets to stay there; however, I could not tell any pet had been there at any time. There was no smell or animal hair anywhere.
While this home can sleep many people it would be best for a large group if you are eating out most of the meals. We cooked many meals in the house and found we had to reuse pots and plates for one meal as there weren't enough. Also, only 4 could sit at the main table (I missed that in the photos) and the stools they have are quite high to eat at the counter.
Communication from the owner was OK. Some automated messages contradicted each other and when I reached out for more TP it took him quite a long time to get back to me - I went out and bought some.
Overall, if you are a group of 4-6 who will cook meals or a larger group planning to eat out most of the time I would definitely recommend staying at this house.

Family weekend
The house is lovely for the most part. The owners were very nice and responded to us in a timely manner.Unfortunately we encountered a few issues. The first one was that the downstairs beds are not beds but blow up mattresses. We weren’t opposed to using mattresses but that’s just not what was advertised. The pictures show regular beds. Luckily the kids didn’t mind sleeping on mattresses so all was well. However, it felt a little deceiving. The other issue was the cleanliness of the house. The sheets on one of the beds were dirty and the floors were very dirty. The floors don’t appear dirty but our feet were filthy after just an hour of being there.
As I said, the house really is lovely. I just think perhaps they may need a different cleaning company and to update the photos to provide accurate information.

St Charles Katy Trail Bike Trip and Reunion
We recently rented this house for a reunion in Sept. 28th-30th. The pictures in the listing show beds with mattresses in the basement. BEWARE! In reality, there are 3 air mattresses in the basement on a cold floor so it feels like sleeping on an ice block. I reported this to VRBO in September 2023, and the listing pictures have not been updated to reflect that there are only 3 beds upstairs. We would have never rented this had we been made aware that half of our guests would not have a bed. The owner had more than ample time to alert us but chose not to. This was my first negative experience with VRBO. Also, there are no closets, towel hooks,or clothing racks to hang clothes on in the bedrooms downstairs. The shower head downstairs did not work properly. Paint was peeling due to water damage above the shower. The shower downstairs did not drain properly. The one nice thing was that he did give us a partial refund due to the misrepresentation, However, the description and the photos in the listing are still misleading regarding the sleeping accommodations and it’s 5 months later.
8/10! We had a nice time with family over the Christmas holiday. PROS:The home has recently been remodeled, it has an open floor plan with plenty of room. It was clean, and there were plenty of linens and towels. There are nice TVs throughout the home with streaming services. Comfy couches and chairs in the living room and rec room in the basement. Nice coffee maker and toaster, double oven and gas stove in the kitchen. Great backyard totally fenced in. Check in and check out were very easy. The host was very responsive whenever I sent a text with questions. I also saw in previous reviews complaints about air mattresses, and no egress windows in the basement. These issues have been taken care of. They also have a pack and play and air mattresses to use if you need the extra beds.CONS: DR table/chairs are wobbly. The kitchen could use more silverware and place settings, a hand mixer and more serving bowls. The toilet seat in the upstairs bath needs replaced as one of the connectors is not attached securely. The seat slides to the side. The upstairs bathtub could use some non-slip decals. The ceiling fan in the LR would not turn off. I contacted the host and was told that a previous renter had lost the remote, and a new remote had been ordered. My suggestion would be to have an alternate way to cut the power to this fan as it got pretty chilly in there with the fan constantly running.
This is a nice recently remodeled property. Bathrooms and kitchen had new fixtures, floors and sinks/toilets. Engineered hardwood floors throughout. There were large screen tv's throughout the house and the basement area is a nice rec room where the other bedrooms are located.
there were a couple of issues.
1. The ice maker did not work. One of the owner's partners came over and checked it out but wasn't able to get it fixed before we left. Not a show stopper.
2. The living room ceiling fan ran all the time because the remote couldn't be found. Not a show stopper.
There is/was one undisclosed issue that we were not made aware of prior to arrival or at rental time. The owner advised us upon arrival that there were "noise monitors" located in the house. He indicated the quiet time was from 10PM-ish to 7AM-ish. Not a real problem for us, but he advised the "noise monitors" were there in case there were any complaints from the neighbors. By the time we found out about this it was too late to change. Our problem with that is any device that can be used to "monitor" noise can also be used to record it. Missouri is what is known as a "one party consent" state, meaning only one party can grant consent to record, so the owner, technically, could have recorded all the conversations, etc., that occurred in the house. That does raise some privacy issue concerns since we had a reasonable expectation of privacy as temporary tenants. This should have been disclosed.
