The listing indicates that the pool is heated for an additional daily charge. When I booked this property I requested to have the pool heated for our stay. I spoke to someone I thought was the property manager and they said they would send someone out to turn on the pool heater. It turns out that the pool heater was never turned on so we didn't get to use the pool. Additionally there were tiny ants in the kitchen area

I messaged the property manager 5 or 6 times and never heard back from them. We didn’t k ow where the gate key was so I messaged on the first day and they never responded. Also both trash cans were full when we gat there and we don’t know that we had to bring them to the road because there was no mention about that anywhere. So we had to store trash inside until we figured it out. Which was not ideal. Other than the lack of communication with the property manager, the house was really nice.

Makaly (the host) should be fired! What an aweful experience. DO NOT STAY HERE! DO NOT BOOK HERE. They over booked us. When we booked in December. They kicked us out for the owners to come and gave us a great and better house for two days. This was a nightmare. If I were you! Book a different place immediately. Don’t trust what they say. I had no TV or internet for the 1st three days I was there and the pool was filthy. I called multiple times and they had the nerve to leave a new router for the internet for ME to put in! Not to mention the host (Makaly) said she was doing me a favor by getting another house for me when SHE overbooked. It was the worst vacation I had. It was booked for a celebration for my son to get engaged. I was on the phone with the property management and the host for 4 days out of 6. Trying to figure out where I was going, pool to be cleaned, and internet to be fixed! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Unless u want to spend the whole vacation on the phone!!

Bait & Switch

Our family booked this home and paid in full on a last minute vacation. We received an immediate confirmation email of the booking. Due to the last minute booking, we followed up by initiating communication with the host through the Vrbo app. We received further confirmation from the host regarding our request for a high chair for our 1 year old and that the access information would be provided before check-in. We packed up a family of four and began traveling to the home. 45 minutes before scheduled check-in we received a message that the home was not available and that our reservation was moved to different resort. The adjusted reservation was not comparable to the original. We we’re given the option to take it our leave it (with a full refund). We decided to take the full refund and frantically tried to find a comparable place in Reunion Resort with little children while driving in route. It was extremely stressful to say the least. We were able to take whatever we could find and the replacement accommodation ended up costing our family almost 3x the amount we budgeted to pay. We didn’t have time to thoroughly research our options in this high stress circumstance. To top it all off, the host did not provide a full refund as promised. When I called, there was no answer or returned call. I spent the second morning of our vacation, about 4 hours, on the phone regarding the issue. Luckily, Vrbo was able to secure a full refund from the host.

Didn’t stay in the house. Host was hard to reach. Changed our location when we got there. Had to wait at a local parking lot cause host wasn’t answering. The number listed on the site was not the person handling the property. The person I did start communicating with sent us to another house where there was another family waiting to get in. Then he stop communicating after we received the lock code. We was t able to use the pool. The host wouldn’t answer the phone calls, but kept texting saying he was doing things and never did. We had to pay extra money to use the community pool when we already paid for a house with a pool. Horrible experience ever!!!

What a joke. This place is a total scam. I booked this place 5 months prior to my trip and when I touched down the day of checkin I got a message saying my reservation was canceled. There were ZERO properties available at that point. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CROOKS. This is the first review I have ever left but I am leaving this so others don’t get stuck in the same terrible situation we were put in.
