I am so sorry to hear about the dirty dishes! I wish you would have mentioned this during your stay. We would have sent the cleaners back to correct the issue.
Regarding the bug deterrents, we have them there to keep pests from being an issue. I don't think being proactive should be held against us.
This was a cute little house. Had very comfortable beds. Comfortable just like home w/ washer & dryer. Nice size yard w/ privacy fence. It would of been nice to have hand rail on front porch, TV in atleast 1 bedroom and a few coat hooks. Our stay was over New Years Eve and we listened to gun fire for about a hour,at midnight. No fault of the owners. They were very helpful and fast to reply.
This was a cute little place to stay. I liked having off street parking. The floors are not level. I'm only mentioning it in case someone might have some mobility issues. We didn't, so it was okay for us. The upstairs bedroom had a loud appliance and no door. The stairs are a bit steep. We didn't stay up there, so we didn't turn off the appliance. Not sure if it was a dehumidifier or what it was exactly. I imagine if someone was to stay up there, it would fine because they could just turn it off when they wanted some sleep. It was a bit hot up there too, so we chose to stay in the downstairs bedrooms which were small but nice. We thought the beds were comfortable. There was no dresser but there was a closet to use, which I did use. There wasn't much space to put a suitcase other than that. The kitchen was small but worked just fine. The bathroom was small and was fine too. I would have liked more light in the bathroom, like over the vanity mirror. There was just a light in the fan overhead. I would have liked to have a small trash can in there too. Maybe the owner will put one in. The backyard was nice sized & fenced in. Great for kids or a dog. We would have liked to have had some chairs or seating in the backyard and a couple chairs on the front porch. The front porch was nice sized. The living room was nice sized & had a TV with roku that we used. The owner was great with communication! We would stay here again. It's in a residental neighborhood close to lots of places.

Thank you for those suggestions! We have added two chairs to the front porch, a trash can in the bathroom, and additional seating for the backyard is on order.
We are also working on a plan to add lighting to the bathroom mirror area.
