Our beautiful white cedar cabin is perched over the rolling hills of Townsend, Tennessee, offering an unmatched view of the Smoky Mountains. This Smoky Mountain getaway is perfect for sharing with friends and family alike for a wonderful, relaxing time away from the daily grind. The view from the deck is unmatched.

With proximity to the unique shopping and attractions offered in historic Gatlinburg (just 24 miles), as well as the big-city allure of Knoxville (just 30 miles), this is truly the perfect location to experience the best of it all. If your goal is to get away from all the hustle and bustle, without straying too far from modern comforts, our cozy cabin is absolutely ideal. Scenic Cades Cove with babbling brooks and teeming with wildlife - you may see bears!! is less than 3 miles away. Wedding venues such as The Barn are less than 4 miles away. Pigeon Forge a mere 20 minute drive away for plenty of entertainment options for adults and families alike.
* Pet Friendly: With advance permission.
* Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): Rear entrance ramp and main level master suite suitable for person with wheelchair or walker. Both levels are accessible from the ground with walk out basement and walkway from parking to kitchen door. Elevated toilet seat available and grab bars in master bath.
* Kid Friendly: Inquire for minimum age/supervisory requirements. Large front yard to play safely and watch the cows. Perfect hill for sledding when we are blessed with snow. Safety gates at both ends of interior stairs. High chair in dining room and pack n play with extra HickaPop mattress for comfort.
* Exterior video surveillance in use with 3 ring cameras positioned to focus solely on common exterior areas intended for guest protection.
* Smoking Not Allowed: No smoking allowed inside the residence. $300 penalty and forfeiture of deposit for violations.

Location is perfect - close to the National Park entrance or a short drive to Pigeon Forge. The kids love playing in the huge gentle sloping yard. The cabin has everything we need and lots of space for our family gathering of 10. We love the amazing mountain view from the porch swing! We come back every year!

This is our 3rd year staying in the cabin & it is perfect for us. The cabin is always clean with plenty of supplies. It's close enough to town so it's not bothersome to run in if we need something or want to go to dinner. Suzette is a fabulous host. She is extremely quick to respond to messages. This cabin is so comfortable. We feel at home here with plenty of space. We love sitting on the front porch (especially in the mornings) watching the clouds lift from the mountain). Very peaceful!

Family vacation

The house was perfect ,we were able to stay ,enjoy each others company in the large dining and kitchen area ,then retreat to the comfort of our individual rooms. This location allows you to be close enough to both pigeon forge and the beautiful Smokey Mountains but not too close. This is a great house for family and friends to gather to enjoy the surrounding beauty and each others company.

Skoog Cedar Manor Family Gathering

We loved the place. It was perfect for our family including little ones. We had plenty of room to be together, yet everyone family had their own space. Feels Like Home!

We love to stay here every year! It's beautiful, clean, spacious, peaceful and close to two entrances to the Park. And only a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Our grandkids have grown up coming here for the last 8 years. All 10 of us can gather around the kitchen table for eating or games. The porch is our favorite place for enjoying the view and making s'mores. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Beautiful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very convenient for a wedding we attended. The house was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable and there was so much space inside and out for the 10 adults in our group. Heaven on earth

No other home has ever worked for us as well as Cedar Creek. With 6 chikdren from 1-11 and 6 adults it is hard to find a property that works. Sitting on the front porch is worth the trip alone. The location is the perfect base for all our activities.

Great space for everyone

Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture, great view. Kids have a place to play games and watch tv, adults have space to chat, play cards and board games. Convenient to all the places we love to visit, with privacy and quiet off the main road. We always reserve as soon as we have dates planned to ensure we get it. After 40 years visiting the Townsend area, it’s our favorite place we’ve ever rented. ❤️

You won't be disappointed

Everything was more than expected. We packed alot of items that we didn't even need. The stay was just like visiting a family member's home. Other family members that stayed with us want to make this a yearly family trip, only if we can get this same location!

What makes this property unique

The view from the deck is unsurpassed in the area and the deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Having lived in Florida so long, we really enjoy that we can enjoy all 4 seasons at the cabin. Townsend is on the "quiet side" of the mountain yet close enough to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the "touristy" stuff and then come back to the cabin for relaxation and family time.
