The property is a beautifully landscaped house in a quiet location. Nicely equipped kitchen and large living room. Both bedrooms were equally nice, with spacious bathrooms. The deck by the pond and secluded location made it a relaxing stay. We appreciated the double carport right in front of the house on the day it rained. We would definitely enjoy staying there again.
My husband and I came down to visit our kids who both attend Elon. What a beautiful location and a beautiful house. So incredibly inviting to wake up every morning and look out over the pond. We would 100% love to come back again.
The home was exactly as presented in the listing. Everything we needed was included and the communication with the owner was always quick and always ready to help. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Additionally the home is relaxing and an enjoyable setting
Stayed here along with sister property for wedding party and parents
In May. Clint was helpful and gracious host. We had the rehearsal dinner catered here. Clint was helpful in arranging drop off etc . All was beautiful with lake view and all guests were impressed by the comfortable and elegant venue for the dinner. Home was well apppointed with all that we needed for comfortable stay.
It was nice meeting the Owner, Clint, who was a perfect host.
Beautiful country-like setting, concealed away from nearby city life. The trail was a lot of fun to walk and our small dog took a dip in pond afterwards!
Extended carport was perfect for rainy days. The huge windows let in light and a great view of nature with the pond.
Large bedrooms have really comfy beds. The bathrooms are very clean.
Can't wait to stay again!
Definitely a hidden gem! We were looking for a place close to Chapel Hill while still wanting more of an outdoor experience. This was perfect in the fact that my children wanted to fish the whole time. It was great to see them catch a few bass each day without dad's help. We felt perfectly at home and enjoyed Clint's hospitality! Thank you again!
Met owners, delightful folks! Home was clean and well equipped. My husband absolutely enjoyed catching (and releasing) several different fish! Our goldendoodle got away from us and enjoyed a swim in the pond!! We BBQ'd and enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery and weather on an absolutely great deck. You would never realize how close to everything you are if you didn't know the area. We enjoyed a very comfortable holiday!

Great location
I am a Burlington resident already but wanted to do something special for a 2 year anniversary without having to travel. It was a perfect get away. I blindfolded my girlfriend and drove her the short 3 miles. When she took the blindfold off she couldn't believe how beautiful the location was. She kept saying there is no way we are in Burlington. We got a chance to take the canoe on the water, which was very relaxing. I can't recommend this location enough. I can't see us not returning.
Our family had a great week relaxing here! Fish, frogs, deer (every single morning and night), rabbits, heron, turtles, sunflowers, and plenty of time together. There are plenty of rivers and lake access points near by that you can drive to, a Walmart close by for any essentials and a Krispy Kreme to top it off. The views from both rooms are amazing and are a great way to fall asleep and wake up. The back porch is huge, comfortable and the best place to read, make s'mores and watch the deer that show up across the pond each day. The kitchen pots and pans made cooking easy as if we were at home. Beautiful place, both inside and out.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lodge! Clint and Rebecca were great hosts. They were very helpful and accommodating. The lodge is extremely comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the relaxing view of the lake and the privacy the property provides. We had the pleasure of seeing a family of deer with two fawns playing almost every afternoon! The lodge truly offers the best of both worlds! It is nestled on a large private property which provides you with the feeling of being immersed in nature while being close to numerous restaurants, stores, and the expressway. We are extremely happy we chose this lodge for our stay in Burlington. We would recommend this lodge to other visitors!
Thank you Clint and Rebecca! We would definitely book this lodge if we visit Burlington again!
This was our first experience using VRBO and we couldn’t be happier. The house was very clean. The property was quiet, scenic, and relaxing. The owners responded to our questions very quickly and were very kind. If we visit NC again, we would be very excited to return to the lodge!
We have family in Elon so this location is perfect. Clint was very responsive and great to work with. The house is very clean and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back, and will always look to see if this property is available for future visits.
The house is set in a very quiet, peaceful bamboo forest with a small pond, but located within minutes to stores and restaurants. Great getaway, but close to all the amenities!
We loved the privacy of this property and all of its amenities. The perfect space for entertaining and lovely setting. We look forward to coming back next year.
We enjoyed everything about this place and it’s close proximity to Elon.
