We had a wonderful stay at this cute one level home. It’s in great shape and the owners thought of all the amenities. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty to cook with. Also, it was so helpful to have some spices, coffee, trash bags, etc. Loved the private location, but still close to everything.

Labor Day Get Away

We had a great time at Hilltop Hideaway! Very pretty home with the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed at! Tucked nicely in the woods, we felt very secluded but only a short drive down the hill to the lake, stores and entertainment. Highly recommend this home for your getaway!

Hilltop Hideaway was the nicest place to stay in Deep Creek Lake, MD. It was minutes away from all the activities and restaurants that DCL has to offer. It was clean and stocked with everything you could think of. The host was informative and quick to respond to any questions. This was our first time to DCL and it exceeded our expectations. We had a great time! I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends, as well.

Cozy, clean, and convenient!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway. The house is just as pictured/described online and convenient to all Deep Creek has to offer. We really enjoyed hanging by the fire pit. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed dinners out at Moonshadow and Mountain State Brewery. Thank you for the lovely time!

Deep Creek getaway

Amazing location and property quiet and seclude yet minutes to everything ! They have undersold in the description as it will exceed expectations once you arive -cleanliness, amazing list of well thought out supplies and accomdations. Cozy Getaway with all the Amenities of Home!

We stayed here for an extended weekend as a surprise for my husband for Valentine's day. It had been many years since we have stayed in any type of cabin as it just seems to work out better for us to take our camper. This place did not disappoint. It was by far one of my favorite places we have stayed. It is nestled in the trees atop a hill which offers privacy. (Note: you will likely need 4 wheel drive in the winter) From the moment we walked in the door I felt at home. It is so cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had anything you could possibly need and I was impressed with the cleanliness. The decor was fitting and tasteful. The location was great. Convenient to Deep Creek Lake. We had a very nice weekend and will definitely stay again if in the area.
