Property manager is the worst!
We have stayed at VRBO properties for about 10 years now. This house was one of the best maintained houses. The house itself would get a 9 out of 10 but the property manager should get a negative number. We paid extra for the pool heat to be turned on before our arrival so the pool would be warm when we arrived. It was not. The first 2 days we were there it rained. Not the property managers fault. The pool was warm on day 2 and that was the only day the pool was warm. We made multiple attempts to resolve this and often had to text the property manager 2 or 3 times before she would get back to us. I’m talking up to 4-5 hours in between. I ended up calling VRBO for assistance and the property manager was unresponsive to them too. Now, I am reasonable and understand that a broken pool heater can happen but it was the unresponsive-ness of the property manager that was so irritating. We had booked this unit for 3 weeks but due to the broken and undetermined date for fixing the pool heat that we ended up leaving the property and returning home. The pool heat costs was refunded to us but no other compensation was offered even though we along with VRBO requested some sort of additional refund for our unused portion of our stay. According to VRBO their hands were tied as it was solely up to the property manager to make this right and even after we left the property manager did not respond to my messages or those of VRBO. Very disappointing stay for sure.
