Perfect ski vacation!

This was our first trip to Steamboat and the condo was the perfect place to stay for our family of 4. We hope to return again next year!

Perfect spot close to mountain

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect! Conveniently located to the free shuttle and the private heated garage was a big plus. They had everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Views and Location!

The views of the ski mountain were fantastic from the units family room. The free mountain shuttle to the ski hill is just a short walk away, and the garage is heated and spacious for you car and gear. Great place, would gladly rent here again!

Perfect rental for couples

Fantastic property which exceeds the description. We were 2 couple and each had nice rooms and bathrooms. Great location and the property was very clean and well equipped.

Wonderful place!

We booked the condo for a winter vacation and it was perfect. A very comfortable, well appointed place. Everything was just perfect and I could not have asked for anything more. Steamboat is an amazing place and this is the perfect way to stay when you are there.

Better and bigger than it looks in the listing. Huge heated garage for vehicle, skis, boots, etc. Comfortable beds. Great communication with the owner. We do a lot of weekend rentals at Steamboat and this one was outstanding. Would love to rent it again & wish it was ours!

Wonderful Ski Location

We had a fabulous stay in Steamboat. The condo was a good size for our family, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable and homey and close to the FREE bus. We hope to return for another outdoor adventure. The best surprise was the heated garage and the kind neighbors.

Thank you so much Steve!! Your place was great!!! Our little girls played with all the toys and books. All the lights on dimmers made it so relaxing and having a garage was amazing!! Views were beautiful, and such a quick drive to everything in town too. We did the steamboat library too which was great!

Perfect in every way!

We loved everything about the condo! It was very large for a 2/2, clean, well-stocked, and was a perfect place for our family to relax after a long day on the slopes! The garage was an added bonus for all our gear and place to keep our car out of the snow! We also loved having a washer and dryer. Many amenities that are not available in other locations. We hope to return to this condo next time on our annual spring break trip! Communication with Steve was great and we have zero complaints! Thank you!

Steamboat Springs

Steve was easy to get a hold of excellent customer service. This place has an oversized heated garage for ski stuff, you can see Gondola from apartment. We parked upper knoll and walked to Gondola didn’t use bus. Would recommend working with Steve. I liked Steamboat being to almost every resort it had a more family feel and friendly people. Oddly enough the Sushi bar in town might be best I have had, even over major cities.

Great Place, lots of room

Great property, don’t worry about previous reviews concerning things like stained carpet. I didn’t have any issues with the condition of the condo. I thought it was immaculate. A couple of things to consider, it’s on the third floor, with access to the third floor by stairs and it’s best if you have a car. There is a bus stop that’s not too far away but it’s a little bit of a walk to bus stop. The real plus of this VRBO, is the tandem, two-car, heated garage. This is the perfect place for a family of four that travelled to Steamboat by car. You can leave your car and skis in the garage and then haul the rest of your gear and groceries up to the condo out of the weather (though the stairs are “outside” the stairs are completely sheltered from the weather). I look forward to staying here again. This place is a great value especially if don’t have to be slopeside and have a car.

Spacious, Clean, Inviting Condo near the lifts of Steamboat!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo in Steamboat. We've rented through Home Away/VRBO several times and this was one of the best experiences to date! The heated, over sized garage was perfect for our large SUV and ski gear. Although the condo was on the 3rd floor, we didn't mind the exercise and it was well worth the vaulted ceilings and views from the balconies. The floor plan was just perfect for us. In fact, we are now considering this complex for a future purchase just based on our stay here. The bus runs by the complex, however we opted to just take the car over to the covered parking at the Sheraton which was less than a mile away (we have younger children and needed to have the option of going back to the car if needed). The condo had lots of games and books for the kids. We loved playing games after a great day of skiing. The owners provided us with their recommendations for things to do/restaurants in the area. We tried out Cantina on the first night (margaritas were great, food good too), and cooked the other 2 nights. The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds! My husband and I are picky about mattresses and haven't had much luck getting a good night's sleep at other homes we've rented, however, the master bed provided a wonderful night's sleep every single night we were there. This is AWESOME! Our stay was topped off with a view of fireworks from the mountain that we had front row seats to from the balcony. Truly a vacation to remember. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your mountain condo. We loved it and will be back!

Better than you can see in the listing

Waffling I’m whether to book this place? Just do it. Steve was perfectly communicative, place was exactly what you see, bathrooms were flawless, beds were comfy, kitchen and living room were cozy, and the two-car heated garage was a nice perk. Short walk to ski shuttle. Personally my favorite part was that unlike seemingly every other ski condo I’ve booked via VRBO, it both had a decent stereo and Steve explained how to use it. If it had a hot tub it would be the perfect small ski condo. But I didn’t miss it. Would absolutely book again!

Roomy condo

The condo felt very roomy for 4 of us staying. The 2 bathrooms and the mud room/laundry room are a big plus. The heated garage for all the ski gear since the condo is on the 3rd floor. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner in. Taking the shuttle wasn’t easy because we couldn’t find the path that is literally directly across from the condo. Head straight from the stairs across the street and head down the winding path then take a left to get out of the condos and straight across the intersection. The Sunray Meadows stop is close to Snowflake Circle.

Steamboat is a true four season destination. In the winter we enjoy skiing, boarding, snow shoeing, and ice skating. In the Spring and Summer we like to golf, ride bikes, and go hiking.

We have attended numerous events including the fabulous Winter Carnival, the Steamboat Marathon, Triple Crown World Series, Hot Air Balloon Festival, Cowboy Round Up Days, Arts Festival, Wild West Air Show, Octoberfest and the nationally recognized Strings Music Festival. The Free bus route will take you to all these events as well as restaurants, shopping, grocery, and more.
