The Perch is located about 10 minutes from the little town of Amity. Twenty minutes away is McMinnville - the heart of Wine Country. In addition to the food scene, there are over 250 wineries within 30 minutes of the house. For the non-wine folks, we have a alcohol free guide on our site. Enjoy it all!

Getting Around:

The Perch is located about 10 minutes from the little town of Amity in a peaceful area. You'll want a vehicle to explore the area. Coming from either side of the Eola Hills, the road to the driveway turn-off is extremely curvy. Please drive carefully!

Perfect stay in Amity

This is the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at: comfortable, spotless, amazing views and location, well maintained and everything you need in the kitchen. Location is super around some great wineries and easy access to the coast. The hosts were very communicative that made everything easy. Our pups loved the yard and the humans loved the good fence! Even the beds were comfortable with good pillows.

Perfect Wine Country Accommodations

We can't wait to return. The house is beautiful, well appointed; the view is amazing. It's very convenient to many wineries. Traveled with our dog and the fenced in yard was a big plus. The only time we all agreed we would gladly return. Highly recommend.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting

Very nice house with cute touches and amenities. The kids enjoyed the play place and the hot tub. Location was remote, so a little far out of our way but would work well for visiting wineries or those wanting peaceful, quiet surroundings. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. Check out was simple and easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was such a lovely place to stay. We came down for my brother’s Dec wedding. Even though we arrived in the middle of the second or third atmospheric river and we couldn’t see much as far as views most days due to pouring rain, it was still amazing. The house really is dog friendly and they leave tons of blankets to cover furniture etc. The yard is quite large and fenced and there’s great drainage with no standing water (less muddy pups). The kids really enjoyed the toys and games and my 12 yr old couldn’t stop saying “can we move here?” (haha). If it had been less of a torrential downpour with our PNW freak weather event, could have enjoyed the massive deck more but we still grilled and used the hot tub. Highly recommended this place! We would love to come back!

Excellent home in wine country!

This gathering was with family and friends to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my niece. The home was secluded, very peaceful with outstanding views. The home had everything we needed,,was very clean and the host we incredibly friendly and were very quick to respond to my many, many questions. We went to several wineries which were a quick drive. I would highly recommend & were creating reasons to stay again!!

Amazing, quiet and scenic

We rented this house for six women for a special occasion trip to wine country. The house is out in the country but was perfectly located for the vineyards we wanted to visit. It's a quick trip into McMinnville. There was plenty of space for socializing and enjoying the ambiance of ths quiet country setting. The house is well provisioned and -- WOW -- four king sized beds! What a treat. Great communications with the property managers who provided a lot of local intel. One of the best houses I've ever rented!

Beautiful inside and out!

We loved our stay here! It was sparkling clean inside and the rooms were all decorated nice with everything you'd need! And then the outdoors is just as lovely - the view was beautiful and it was quiet. It was a very calm weekend! Our dogs also loved the property and it was completely fenced and secure for our large and medium size dog. The only thing we were a bit nervous about, when we pulled in, is it appeared that the neighbors would also use the gate to exit, leaving an opportunity for our dogs to get out but we never saw them use it and believe there is another exit for that home. We would definitely stay here again as we have many more wineries to visit!

Exactly as shown on the website. The views were spectacular! There were lots of toys/games for the children and adult children to play with! :) Perfect size kitchen with all the needed utensils and appliances for our family to use to make the epic meals we had on Christmas' Eve and Christmas Day! The wet/cold weather made the use of the hot tub undesirable...wish the tub had been covered or closer to the house or better weather! No matter, it still was a perfect holiday vacation!!

Please check pet policies and add your dog(s) to your reservation. There is a per stay dog fee of $60 for up to two dogs.

Landscapers come on Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Our professional spa contractor will typically be on-site each week to service the hot tub on Monday or Tuesday.

The wood stove is available for use by experienced guests. Please get in touch with us before your stay to connect about details should you want to use the wood stove. Guests need to provide their own wood.

Guest will have exclusive access to the entire property except for the garage, shed and storage closet. The home is equipped with a keyless entry.

Home is located in a rural location, that comes with a higher presence of bugs and wildlife. The home is treated regularly for pests.
