Ocean Breeze Villa: Oceanfront, Private Dock & Pool, Sleeps 16, Pet Friendly


Arrive by boat to your own private dock. Ocean Breeze Villa is an oceanfront retreat on Oak Ridge Key in Roatán, reachable only by water, with a free water taxi from Oak Ridge. Six bedrooms across the main house and guesthouse sleep up to 16 guests, with room for family reunions, dive groups, and friends traveling together.
Snorkel right off the dock, paddle the kayaks and paddleboards, cool off in the private natural pool, then watch the sunset from the ocean-view deck. At night, the dark sky puts on a show. Bring the dog too: pets are welcome with prior approval.

Main house: 3 bedrooms (king and two queens), 2 baths, full kitchen, living room, library/workspace, indoor and outdoor dining, laundry
Guesthouse: 3 bedrooms (two queens each), 3 baths, ocean-view porch, full kitchen, laundry. Included for groups of six or more, and also available separately
Smart TVs and new A/C in every bedroom, plus fast WiFi throughout

Your caretaker and boat captain, George, and house manager and private chef, can arrange fresh seafood, private meals, boat excursions, dive and snorkel packages, and massages. Skip it all if you prefer, and self check-in is available.
LOCATION
Next to the Reef House Resort, about 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from French Harbor shopping. Camp Bay Beach and Paya Bay are minutes away.

Boat access only. Parking at the Oak Ridge taxi area is $5 per day.
Please conserve electricity and water and turn off lights and A/C when not in use.
The home can be rented as a 3/2, 4/3, 5/4, 6/5,

This home is located in the Bay Islands and is different from the main land of Hondrous. Around resort areas in the Bay Islands, which include Roatan, Utila, and Guanaja, there is a concentration of resources and tourist are a high priority.

This property was just as described, and just what we were looking for. Unfortunately we had to make a few changes prior to our trip, none at the fault of the Host. Jerri was very understanding and worked with us without a problem. This was a great location for us, we wanted to be on the east side, but with having the Reef House Resort next door it was nice for our adult children we brought to enjoy their restaurant and we also dove with them for our scuba. We chose to get the house keeping and the chef. The food was great and it was amazing coming home with no dirty laundry! Both ladies were so wonderful and kind. It was my birthday during the trip and they went above and beyond to help my husband get a birthday cake and set up for a little party. They even gave me a gift. The house/boat person George was very helpful our entire stay. They called for a driver any time we had anything planned. We even visited the Church on the island. We loved it here and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Fantastic house. Well stocked, nicely appointed, and just an amazing location. The owner & staff were all lovely to work with. The natural pool was a huge bonus - we snorkeled in there a bunch. Highly recommend!

If you want a fantastic island stay without tourists go here. Avoid the “West End”. That’s for Cruise ships and a Disney World vacation. George and Mable were most helpful. George took us for a day boat ride through the Mango swamps and we stopped at floating Tiki Bar for a coconut drink. The fresh ocean salt water pool was fantastic.

No beach but wasn’t expecting it as the property is on the reef. Awesome to snorkel right where excursions come. Saw all kinds of fish, sting rays, nurse sharks. View was unbeatable, Property manger and host were professionally from the start. They were helpful in planning our trip from months out to getting every detail while at the property. Food from the chefs was some of the best we had abroad. Even more impressive that they were self taught.Would recommend to anyone, and look forward to coming back

Fantastic Vacation!

My 85 year old mother and I had a wonderful time staying in Roatan. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The views were spectacular and we were taken care of like family. There was so much to do and so much to see, however, we were still able to live the Island Life and relax and enjoy out time there. Kudos and thank you to George, Courtney, and Abrian for making our trip one to remember!

Great Stay

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Jerri was easy to deal with and answered every question we had. Mabel cooked dinner for us on 2 separate nights and the food was phenomenal! She was easy to reach, friendly and helped with anything we needed. George was great as well. He took us wherever we needed to go and even gave us a tour of the mangroves. We suggest stopping at Hole in the Wall for lunch if you do this. The house was clean, quiet and in the perfect location. We took a snorkeling trip but the snorkeling right from the house was even better. We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Breeze Villa!

Once again - a great place

Once again the property met our needs. Love the location of this property. Can't beat the view. Having to take a boat taxi makes it charming, relaxing and fun. Saw the Mangroves-stunning. Owner is easy to reach if anything is needed. Live-on-site property host helps too. Hope to make it a third time.

Great view of ocean. Nice neighborhood. Friendly people. Some barking dogs at night. Cozy house has everything one needs for a good vacation. Beds are supper comfy. Plenty of clean new towels. AC in every bedroom helps a lot. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would come again.

Friends trip from Texas

A group of 10 us has the most wonderful time here! Communication with Jerri was the best I’ve ever had with any host both before and during the trip. Mabel and George, the house managers, were able to accommodate our every need and were always available. Mabel made dinner one night too and it was the best meal we had the whole time we were there! The ac worked great in the rooms and the kitchen was well-stocked. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property - we’ll be back!

Island Paradise

We had a wonderful time in Roatan. Jerri was very responsive and helpful with communication. Mabel and George were very helpful during the stay with setting up transportation, checking in during the stay and giving recommendations. We will definitely go back. I wish we would have booked our stay longer there. We brought snorkeling gear with us, which was awesome to use in the beautiful water to watch fish and seashells. Roatan was the highlight of our Honduran Adventure.

Wow! Amazing property and staff!

We brought a group of 13 including a 1, 4 and 10 year old. The house was amazing for us! The staff could not have been better. We opted for the cooking and cleaning service for the week which changed our lives for the week. All of Mabel’s meals were amazing. The couple of times we ate out, we were wishing we had stayed in! If you dive, the dive resort next door is literally 20 steps from the house. The snorkeling from the pier was amazing as well and we same eagle rays, beautiful coral and tons of tropical fish and critters. We will be back!

Hidden gem

This was my second time staying here and it never disappoints! The staff and host are so kind and helpful and always eager to improve your stay in any way they can. The property is super comfortable, clean and spacious and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The view of the ocean from the porch is stunning and it’s so nice to be able to just walk a few feet to the water whenever you want. One of the best parts is that you’re right on the reef so you get to see all types of aquatic animals. This has become one of my favorite places to stay my whole family loves it because it offers something for everyone. Can’t wait to stay here again!

What a trip

We were 2 familes totaling 11 with kids ranging from 10-18 years old. We cannot say enough great things about our expierence here. Jerri was a great host and super responsive but Mabel and George were the best. Mabel from her amazing meals to helping plan out our days made relaxing and exploring so easy. George was always around to take us by boat or just to talk with the kids who became very fond of him. House was well equipped with anything you need. If you are looking for something away from teh hustle and away from the tourists this is the place for you

We are a family of 3 one adult two children ages 27 and 25. We purchased the home when my children ages were 3 and 6 so my children and many of their friends have great memories of our home. It is a place to come together as a family.
We have traveled to Roatan with my children and the children and our friends, everyone comes away asking to go back. We have homeschooled and traveled most of the world over several years 3 months in Asia, 4 months in South America, many months in Europe, This remains my families top pick of places to go. We decided upon Roatan for many reason but one of the main reason is the direct flights to the island from the US. Snorkeling directly in front of the home. The relaxing ocean views, the wildlife, The Reef house next door. The staff.
There are so many reason to love this home and location but it seems you need to experience it to really understand the beauty, the people, the food.

There are many reason to choose this property and Roatan. Here are a few reasons why we love this home and Roatan.

- It's in a local area that is safe and the people are friendly.
- It is a place for our family to go and unwind from the city life.

We have been traveling to Roatan for years and love the Island life this house provides. I think this is best location on the entire island for the view and security of being on a cay where the kids have loads of freedom.

Roatan is part of a cluster of island archipelagos situated ten to forty miles off the northern coast of Honduras. Roatan is located in between Utila and Guanaja Islands. These islands are a gem in the western Caribbean, and they are surrounded by the largest barrier reef system in the northern hemisphere. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is only second in size to Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

What makes this property unique

The views are unbeatable and you can set on the front porch and observe lots of wild life. We have seen pilot whales, spinning dolphins, whale shark, turtles, birds. Its just amazing.
The unblocked view is wonderful and since we are not in a large area of people the night stars feel like you could reach up and grab them. There are not many places that the lights do not disturb the night sky. The night sky from the dock is worth the trip. In our salt water pool we have amazing wildlife. You will be amazed at what you can see in the day or night.
