Whispering Pines Cottage is a private 4-bedroom Muskoka retreat on 2 acres with over 1,000 ft of waterfront on 3 Mile Lake and the Dee River. Enjoy stunning views through large Muskoka windows, a spacious Great Hall, fully equipped kitchen, and a lower level with entertainment. Ideal for families or longer, relaxing stays.

The Great Hall on the main floor features large Muskoka windows with beautiful water views and a comfortable space to gather.

The cottage includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms:

* Primary bedroom with king bed and ensuite
* Second bedroom with two bunk beds (sleeps 4)
* Third bedroom with a queen bed
* Lower level bedroom with a king bed

The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, dishes, a Keurig coffee maker, and a 7-seat dining table.

A loft area provides a great space for kids to relax and play.

The lower level offers additional living space with a pool table, basketball arcade, and TV. TVs are available on both floors.

Bed linens and bath towels are provided.

Outside, enjoy a propane BBQ and access to two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle board (seasonal).

Exterior security cameras are in place for safety.

The property is accessible by road with parking for up to 4 vehicles. The driveway is steep, so all-wheel drive vehicles equipped with winter tires are mandatory from November to May.

The cottage is set on a hill, with several steps leading down to the dock.

Please note: the rear deck, dock, kayaks, and canoe are not available during winter months (November to May).

Swimming and water activities are popular, and since lake conditions can change, guests are encouraged to check before swimming. If swimming is not recommended at any time, we invite you to enjoy our other water sports options, including kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding. A limited number of life jackets are available—guests are encouraged to bring properly fitted ones.

Please note, the cottage is on a septic system, so only toilet paper should be flushed.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please bring back all water equipment into the hut.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please respect the septic system. Only toilet paper can be flushed. A blockage will occur and the pump will burn out if anything else is flushed.
No smoking on the premises inside or outside the cottage

We were very happy with the cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed. Prarheep was always available to answer any questions that we had. Amazing for fishing too!

Beautiful cottage and lakefront, super comfortable, great outdoor firepit setup, covered BBQ area with bug screens, lots of water sports and easy floating carpet that's great for kiddos, great activities indoors and in the basement for kids and adults. Convenient upper level for a little work on the side. The host was very responsive and helpful all around! Safe and fun for kids probably 4, with bunk beds. Easy to get to and find cottage country stores nearby.

The property is very tired and the online listing not at all accurate. From popped screws on the stairs, to broken bug screens, to a very under-equipped kitchen, this wasn't at all what I expected. All of this is too bad because the location itself is great, the host very helpful & communicative, and the check-in check-out process very smooth. I would advise not renting this until it has a proper renovation.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all guest comments seriously, but this review does not accurately reflect the condition of our property. The cottage is well-maintained and matches the photos and descriptions provided in the listing. Unfortunately the guest left the property very messy and broke a chair during their stay, and we beleive this review was written in response to that issue. We take pride in offering clean, comfortable space and accurately represented experience for all guests.
