Visiting AMI while our son attended IMG academy

We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub and enjoyed utilizing the backyard. We rented a golf cart and were in close proximity to great restaurants, ice cream shop and the beach. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful property

This was a great stay! House accommodated 9 of us with room to spare. It’s a great location; close to water, great restaurants, and shops. Pool was wonderful and kitchen was very well stocked!

Wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property! We had no issues getting in and getting around town. Property management was very prompt in in answering questions and resolving any issues that arose during our stay. The only issue we found was that the 3rd floor balcony doors as well as a few windows do not lock - which is a safety concern. Otherwise a perfect stay! Would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Tarpon Pointe. The house was spacious and allowed for lots of seating. The pool/hot tub was where we spent most of our time. It was quite spacious and my kids really enjoyed going back and forth between the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the grill and pool seating areas tremendously. With the beautiful weather, we just wanted to spend time outside, and Tarpon Pointe accommodated that very nicely. I also needed a pack n play and table booster seat for my youngest since we flew in and could not pack those, and the we were provided with those for our stay, which I really appreciated. The pack n play was not there when we arrived, as it was supposed to be, but when I called the property management company, they had it over within the hour. My only complaint with the property was that the kitchen options were sparse. I assumed there might be a few basic spices to work with, and there was absolutely nothing! Only a tiny S&P. I wished I'd known this ahead of time so that I could have packed more things to go with our meals. The property also lacked food storage (no ziploc or tupperware type options). So, that made storing leftovers tricky. Overall, highly recommend staying at this property! Wonderful proximity to the beaches and Pine Street shops/restaurant, while still being tucked away on a quiet street.

Great property

We loved this property. It was clean and had just enough space for our group. The outdoor space was quaint and we enjoyed the spa and pool. The location is very good in terms of being walkable to the beach, shops, restaurants. The rental company was great and very responsive to minor issues. The alarms on the doors were very annoying - the rental company gives instructions on bypassing before opening the doors. Note that the dock does not have a ladder to easily access a kayak. We would absolutely rent this property again.

Great location

House was a great size and in the perfect location for us. Unfortunately one of the A/Cs broke but they did bring individual coolers for the rooms and communicated really well during this issue. Some things do need updating - the mattresses are really bad. I did tell management about this so if they've recently updated them then definitely stay here!!!

Comfortable House

Location, space, house structure conditions, furniture, rooms, patio, and pool info and pictures were very accurate. The only part that was not good is that the house was not clean. Bathrooms (they forgot to flush the toilets, which mean they were not clean) kitchen (fridge were with many brownish stains under the veggies drawers, plates, glasses, silverware were not washed up properly and floors in general were ok (under the furniture were left over chips, cookies, puzzle pieces, etc) Communication with the property manager were good and easy. We liked the house distribution and the area very much.

AMI Spring Break

Overall this property was nice. Great location centrally located with short walks to either the bay or gulf and 2 blocks away from Pine Ave and the shops. Especially loved being able to walk to the general store for sandwiches and great ice cream. Suggestion - each door to the back pool/deck area has its own alarm on it which was not identified prior or in the check in material. So it was a shock when we opened the back door upon arrival and didn’t know what to do. Please include in info prior. It was a bit of a nuisance if you forgot to press bypass or if you don’t close the door within the short time before alarm, but totally get it for the safety of kids.

Beautiful House & Fantastic Location

A group of us stayed here for a friend‘s 30th birthday. We had plenty of space in the house for all guests and lots of places to gather together. We loved lounging by the pool and hanging out in the family room playing games. Lots of linens, beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. The location is amazing and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Only one peeve of the group, and was for safely reasons, is that all doors going outside, with the exception of front door have alarms that will go off if left open for too long. It is for the pool safely, but even the second floor doors have them, so we were setting them off often trying to get stuff from kitten out on deck for setting up dinner. It did not deter us from having a truly wonderful time.

Poor communication

It would be nice to know along with the amenities what is not included like toilet paper and dish soap and shampoo and laundry detergent. Those would be nice extras for the price you pay. The alarms are very annoying and make it difficult to go in and outside Location was good and the overall house was nice. Pool was great. It would be nice to have directions on how to warm up the hot tub. Communication was rough on wanting to check in early. Wi-Fi never worked. Anna Maria Island never disappoints !!

Fun stay for the whole family

Our family had a great vacation at this property. We were able to utilize the boat dock, making it very nice and easy to get out on the water everyday. The house was nice, with everything needed in the kitchen, and by the pool. Plenty of space to have 6-8 people comfortably. Communication with the management company was easy. The negative was the alarms on the doors (a city ordinance for child safety- understandable, just quite noisy).

Overall Very Pleased

We had a great time and cannot beat the location! The layout of the house was amazing with fishing off the pier, close to the beach and shopping, and great communication with the management company. The house itself might be due for some upgrades, but overall is was a wonderful rental and time in AMI!
