Three village houses built in the 17th century make up "Le Pontin", a family house of approximately 2.800 sq ft located in the center of the village of Ménerbes. Leaning against the rock, facing the old village and the Citadel, it enjoys a dominant view that goes from the Petit Luberon, through the Ventoux and the Vaucluse plateau to the Grand Luberon. The sunsets over the Cévennes on the horizon are majestic.
In order to fully enjoy the view and the garden, the living rooms are located towards the top of the house.
On the lower level: three double bedrooms and under the roof, two other bedrooms furnished with a choice of a double bed or two single beds.
On the ground floor: a billiard room and a hammam.
The house has four bathrooms.
The garden, which winds in successive stages around the house, offers various spaces conducive to relaxation or reading. The 50 by 20 ft swimming pool is located in a dedicated and secure area. There is a gas barbecue in the garden.
Completely restructured and renovated in recent years, the house remains cool in summer. Although partially leaning against the rock, it is perfectly sound.
The house is located close to shops (grocery store, bakery, bar) and restaurants. Slightly set back from the roads located below, it strikes by its calm and the absence of external nuisance, although located in the heart of the village.
On the other hand, the panorama has a corollary: access to the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and certain stairs, such as the one giving access to the swimming pool, do not have railings.
