Spectacular Views

My husband and I fell in love with Maggie Valley while traveling through a few years back. We finally returned this fall and were absolutely delighted to have chosen this place! It was all that we had hoped and more. Some people enjoy a view of the mountains, this place allows you to be IN the mountains. Exactly what I wanted. If you want privacy and the absolute peace nature provides…it doesn’t get any better than this. Truly. Plus, a short drive to Maggie, nearby Waynesville and into Cherokee and an entrance to one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The home was clean, very comfortable, could easily sleep 6. The property was more steep than I had anticipated, but it was well graded, making it easier to walk down. The sound of the creek, very soothing. The best feature is easily the wrap around deck, which is well enclosed with gates, making it perfect to sit out with our dogs for morning coffee and evening cocktails without concern of them taking off. That is just what we did and I assure you you will want to as well. I would recommend a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabin, but even our front wheel drive Honda HRV did alright, in low gear. Yes. This house is as nice and well appointed as pictured, but the view and peace have to be experienced. My husband had to drag me out of here, back to our “real life.” We will be back, and I very much look forward to it. Thank you home owners and thank you Yonder team!

Thank you!

The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable and everything we needed for a last minute booking due to our new home not being ready.. it even had a generator which was amazing since power was out due to Hurricane Helene! Yonder was great and worked with us to extend our stay as needed, we couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin with Stunning Views but Missing Some Basics

We loved the cabin’s cleanliness, privacy, and breathtaking views from the wrap-around deck. However, it lacked outdoor furniture, which meant we had to drag chairs from the kitchen to enjoy coffee on the deck. For a cabin in this price point, a couple of rocking chairs would have been appreciated. Also, the directions provided were incorrect, leading us down non-existent roads, making it challenging to find in the dark.

Quiet Relaxing Stay

Very relaxed stay in quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed seeing visiting elk 3x, once with her baby. House was very clean with all supplies needed during stay. The gravel road off the main road is a bit long and becomes steep just before getting to house but my all wheel drive handled it fine. There is AC unit in master bedroom only. All 3bedrooms are up stairs. Very large deck to enjoy outdoors with large grill and a jacuzzi. Deck has latching gates allowing my dog to safely enjoy outside view without worry of wondering away.

Beautiful, Secluded and Convenient

My family had a wonderful time. The house was very nice and clean. Very secluded and cozy but also very conveniently located. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed the place. It was a great getaway with a great view. Kids loved the stream going through the property. Reminding me of the summers I would spend with my Grandparents in Bryson City. Will definitely book again.
