About this property
Lake View Retreat Loaded For Fun, with STUNNING Views!
This private peninsula lakefront property isn’t just where you stay during your vacation, it IS your vacation! On-site fishing, boating, swimming, watersports, a game room, nearby restaurants and shopping, and absolutely gorgeous lake views. There is no end to the activities and fun already at this spacious home, and most everything you need for a great stay is already here.
With lake on three sides you get both sunrise and sunset over the water. A private boat ramp, over-water dock with patio table, covered boat slip, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, jon boat, tubes, water skis, knee board and wakeboard are all here for you to enjoy for free. Bring your own boat or watercraft if you like or rent our on-site hybrid deck boat. With four connected lakes there is lots to explore, plus you can visit the downtown area or a nearby restaurant by boat.
This 5000 sq.ft. home is handicapped-accessible and has 5 bedrooms (three of them en-suites), 4 bathrooms plus 3 additional sleeping areas for up to 22 guests. All bedding is provided. Dual fireplaces, full laundry, a spacious family room with 270 degree lake views and a pool table, dart board, table-top suffleboard and wide-screen TV. There are board games, outdoor games and activities for kids all on site too. If you are bringing your dog(s) there is a huge shady fenced-in area lakeside where they can run freely.
The kitchen is huge and comes with plenty of pots, pans, cups, mugs, dual coffee makers, double oven and Jenn-Air stove with built-in grill and griddle. Pretty much everything you need is there. An outdoor propane BBQ grill is also on site.
The second-floor master suite is huge and French doors open up to the balcony overlooking the lake to the north and east. The sunrises there are often breathtaking! Enjoy your coffee up on the balcony or take the stairs down to the patio area. There is lots of lakeside seating, and evenings by the lakeside fire pit bring everyone together!
There is a 20 ft hybrid deck boat available for rent with cushioned seating for 9-10. Local attractions include the quaint downtown Inverness area with shopping, antiques, parks, restaurants and more. A 1/3 mile oval racetrack is in town, as well as the county fairgrounds with various events throughout the year. Airboat rides are nearby, scenic bike trail too just minutes from the property. Everything is within a 3-12 minute drive so although you have a tranquil spot on the lake, the entire town is conveniently close and easily accessible.

Hosted by Patty Stadnyk

We love making great memories with our friends and family and we want our house to be a place where you can do the same.
Why they chose this property
There are very few houses on this single-block street and by being on the peninsula you have a semi-private retreat with no through-traffic.
What makes this property unique
We are a rare peninsula property with gorgeous views of the lake to the east, west and north. Everything you need is on site including boats, ramp, dock, beach, patio with fire pit, and easy access to all of the amenities in the area.
