Glad you got to enjoy the hot tub! All but 2 of our 11 units have brand new hot tubs, which will also be replaced next year. Since under new ownership in 2023, we have been doing all sorts of upgrades!
We had a really nice stay. The house was clean and smelled nice. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, towels, and kitchen utensils provided. Decorated so nicely for fall.Loved the big dining room table for crafts. Hot tub was filled with plenty of water and definitely hot. Grille was nice to have, made steaks. The only thing I did not like was how close to the road the house is. I took my dogs and couldn’t let them run. The road wasn’t busy busy, but busy enough.Host was very responsive and checked in to make sure we got there.

Hi Katie! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and the amenities our little lake house has to offer. We have a fenced in yard connected to the back deck and hot tub. I hope your dogs were able to enjoy that while you relaxed outside!

Kelly was great and easy to talk with. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I slept very well my whole time there. The amenities such as the hot tub, grill and the fire pit were huge hit with the family. I would stay again and I plan to0!
As we pulled in the driveway, 5 deer were laying down in the front yard. We walked into the smell of Christmas, a lit Christmas tree and the rest of the home decorated. Thank you Kelly! You can feel the love you put into your dream.

What an awesome review! I love it when guests can capture the hope we are creating within our units. Blessings!
Definitely remote and private location. There is not much to do if you don’t fish or boat but it completely met our needs of getting out of the city for a couple days. The pictures don’t really do it justice. All the comforts of modern day including an amazing hot tub . Would do it again.

So happy you got to enjoy the peace of our private getaway! Little towns offer a slower pace but still have things you can do. Same with the parks! Hiking is popular, renting a boat, or just sightseeing. :)

Scary
It was o k, but it's definitely not. For older people would disabilities. It had a stairs that were like, 25 stairs. Up to the door to get in. And no other way to get into the building. That means that two old people had to carry all of their stuff up those stairs. There is also no Wi-Fi and it said it has Satellite TV. But there was only about 4 channels. I was supposed to work this weekend and wasn't able to.

Thank you for your response. We include pictures and disclosures of the steps in consideration of those who might find them challenging. We now have wifi and Roku! :)
We had a very nice stay with our 2 pups. Many of the necessities were thought of. A rug by the back door worked well for the dog’s bowls, or would be good for shoes. The bathroom is spacious with a nice big shower with a large seat. Function was kept in mind, balanced well with welcoming decor. We enjoyed the hot tub and everything was clean. Love the location, it’s more secluded and no worries about neighbors. But still only 15 mins from the grocery stores and fast food, and 10 mins from the nearest Dollar General. If you’re going to Atwood Lake for fishing or the beach, it’s about 25-30 mins. Much closer to Leesville Lake, but we didn’t go there. I would highly suggest venturing into town to Que Pasa Mexican if that’s your thing.
Just a few small hiccups during our stay, but when messaging the property owners, they were very responsive, helpful and kind!
A few things to note: The drive can be tricky to turn around, in and out with a large vehicle like a 1/2 ton pickup truck with a full-size cab but is doable, be cautious of the steps and culvert ditch. AT&T has great service in the area. Verizon does not. When coming from 332N, Elk Rd is a switchback off of Autumn Rd, again be careful. The photo of the steps is the entrance to the place and they are not as dreadful as they look. If you’re a coffee drinker, bring your ground coffee and additions. But mostly, give this place a try and enjoy your stay!
