Loved the facilities and the natural beauty of the site. Hosts were great and responsive to our needs. This is a very private location and has limited but adequate cooking facilities as long as you are creative. Will be back!
Absolutely amazing location!!! Super peaceful everything we needed and hoped for. Dena was an incredible host. Will definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. Wish we didn't have to leave. Thank you for a great stay at your fantastic location. Will be back!!!
Great for camping! Right on the Yellowstone River and only about an hour to Red Lodge/Beartooth Pass. No shower, but they said they are adding an outdoor shower. Extremely clean Portapotty. Cabin is very clean. Camping on the Yellowstone was the highlight.
Our family had a great, private, quiet 4th of July weekend at the Columbus, Mt, Yellowstone River Property. We were able to bring campers, tents, and enjoyed the very cute cabin.
Although the river was swift we could paddle board and swim.
It’s a beautiful property with lots of space.
There is a grill, but bringing your own cooking stoves, and drinking water makes meal prep easier. We definitely want to return.
Very quiet. House runs on a generator and has water tank and outhouse. They were prompt when we needed water and gas for generator. Road going in is rough and long as your off the beaten path. There is no drinking water available you need to make sure u bring it in.Overall very nice couple who run the farm and for the most part we were alone . We enjoyed our stay and they were great to deal with
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The cabin feels like it's in It's own world. It's a bit hard to tell from the pictures, but the cabin is right on the river. It was delightful to sit on the front pourch in the morning drinking coffee and watching the river flow by. Having a private stretch of the Yellowstone River was fantastic. The outdoor shower is amazing. FYI- there is not running drinkable water. There is a sink with non-potable water. Great little cabin in an unbelievable location!
Lots of wildlife, peaceful setting, great queen bed, clean well functioning facilities, fun and responsive hosts. Great hiking areas within an hours drive in wilderness areas. Great dining in Red Lodge. Saw Eagles, pelicans, beaver, ducks cranes and deer near cabin and bear and moose in wilderness areas we visited. Bugs were no problem. Cabin is in a cool location surrounded by large trees and the cooling affect of the Yellowstone river right outside your door. Enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch. This was our second visit and will be back again. Now has heat and air conditioner, though we only needed it once due to the natural cool setting surrounding the cabin. If you love the outdoors and want privacy and some comforts while you enjoy it this place is for you.
A peaceful paradise. We were blown away at the breathtaking views. Swimming, fishing, bonfires and pure serenity. The cabin is adorable. The trip was beyond our expectations. Dena and Jonathan are very accommodating.
