Relaxing stay
We enjoyed the nice apartment and the peaceful setting near the river. It is a whole lot nicer than staying in the local motel, which we've done many times before. We ran a fan in the bedroom and slept through the trains that passed through town in the night. The only time we heard them is if we were already awake. We look forward to staying again next time we are in Columbus.
The place was very well appointed. It had everything we needed. The only downside was the nighttime trains. By the second nite, there were fewer trains. Other than that, it was lovely. There were gas stations and grocery stores nearby, which was very convenient. We were definitely stay here again.
Everything was good, clean, and stocked. No AC, but luckily it was early Sept. and not too bad. Only complaint was the train...blowing whistle ALL NIGHT long !!!
It was mediocre. We were not able to sleep well because of the nearby trains running and blaring their horns all through the night. The bedding was cheap and thread bare. Need new quality sheets and comforters as well as decent pillows for guests.

Hi Jessica, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:- The trains can be heard throughout Columbus and are required to sound their whistles at crossings, which is unfortunately beyond our control. However, we will start supplying disposable earplugs and we will look into the possibility of adding a white noise machine to the bedrooms. - We launder all bedding after each stay and replace it when it shows any signs of wear.- We contact guests upon arrival to ensure they’re settled and provide contact information in case any issues arise. We regret that you didn’t reach out during your stay, as we would have been happy to address your concerns.Thank you for sharing your feedback. Evolve and the homeowner are committed to making every stay as comfortable as possible, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve.

Hi Nanette, we’re truly sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t what you expected. After following up with the homeowner, they wanted to share some additional details:- Due to an unexpected situation involving a displaced family, there was a mix-up with your reserved unit. We provided you with a comparable unit and sincerely apologize for our error.- To make things right, we offered a one-day refund and provided any additional items you needed during your stay. We also communicated with you throughout to ensure you were taken care of. We regret the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding during a challenging situation. Thank you for your feedback as we continue striving to improve.

Can you say train whistle?
We were staying when it was extremely hot outside so when we asked if we could bring a portable air conditioner to help with the heat, the host was gracious enough to let us. It made our sleeping so much better. The beds were comfortable, which was also very nice. There is no dishwasher, which is fine but there also was no dish drain and the kitchen towels are not the best for drying dishes. So, I would suggest you get a dish drain. Although the reviews I read mentioned the train I did not realize that the train is literally next door. The whistle several times during the night did not allow us to sleep uninterruptedly and perhaps because the windows were open for ventilation it seemed like it was in the apartment. I mean it will make for good stories of our weekend, but I would not want to repeat. Perhaps it is not so bad if it is chillier and the windows are closed.

Hi Lisa, we are sorry you did not have the best experience. We have passed your feedback on to the homeowner and they wanted us to let you know the following: We are very sorry this wasn't the best experience for you. We know how inconvenient the heat or the train sounds can be during a vacation however we do not have control over either of these. Thank you so much for letting us know about your stay.

decent place
fairly dated but nice, trains going by in the middle of the night were an annoyance, smelled a little dingy.
As we unpacked the car, the Owner greeted us with a wonderful sense of humor and a warm smile. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. Upon entering we were greeted with a cozy environment, stocked with coffee, breakfast bars, napkins, paper towels, soaps and shampoo. I never expected to have all of this for such a reasonable price. Everyone was so friendly, I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to everyone.
The hosts were very helpful. Jess was always available & made us feel at home. I can't suggest a better place to stay in the Columbus area. Due to Covid-19, we ate most meals in, so the 4-person table & complete kitchen was perfect. There was some train noise, but as we found out that is life in Columbus. Good IGA supermarket just a few blocks away.
The apartment was clean, nicely stocked with linens and kitchen items. It was the perfect size for our 2 adult couples and afforded us the ability to stay in, cook and play games that a hotel would not have provided us. Our only negative comment is that you are right next to the train tracks and they run seemingly all night.
This is a great apartment and was very clean. The manager was very attentive . The apartment had everything that we needed. It even had a laundry in the building which was very handy.
