It was an amazing property to stay at. We used the kayaks and I did quite a bit of fishing (caught plenty of bass). I was looking for a quiet week vacation spot and this fit the bill. Having cable tv, internet, and air conditioning was a plus and the kitchen was nice and well stocked.
It was a lovely house, right on the lake with a dock. There is an excellent boat ramp right across the lake. Great for family and friend.
Eric at Jordan Rentals was very easy to contact, and to work with.
House is very nice and well-cared for. The beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen is small but stocked and functional. Ceilings are low in the main area so if one is taller than 6' 6", it might not be comfortable. The lake is a typical Maine lake, with moderate boat activity during the day. My sons and their friends paddle-boarded over to the 1 Big Sustainable Island to check it out. They thought it was cool. Overall, a great experience.
Home was cozy and clean. The outdoor space was great, and having kayaks on site with a dock were perfect. The owners had puzzles and games at the home that were nice to have. The kitchen had everything a traveler would need except for a coffee pot. The checkin process was easy, so was check out. It was overall a very laid back experience. The owners might want to add a brochure of things to do, or a local favorites list (we did the Pisgah Mt conservation trails which were great) but having local knowledge would be better (the kids were hoping to see a moose, but couldn't find much information on where/how that might be achieved, even if you had to drive a distance). If we ever go to that part of Maine again, we would rent this home.
Overall, a great experience!

Thanks for the kind words! Apologizes on the coffee pot. You were the 1st rental and this was an oversight. We have added a K-Cup
We hope to see you again in the future
Thanks
Eric
