Newly Restored Vintage Cabin near Bryce, Grand Staircase. Great views!
New Listing! 1940's era restored farmhand/cowboy bunkhouse. Its rustic exterior was retained to exemplify its age and origins, but the inside has been updated and remodeled for your comfort. One bedroom, bath, living room w/ kitchenette. Be advised that the all-original ceiling logs have a clearance (head room) of 6'-5", and are spaced every 30", so if you are taller than 6'-4" this would be uncomfortable for you.
The cabin is located on our small farm in the south end of Henrieville valley. The farm originally belonged to my great-grandfather Harry Quilter, (hence the name Quilter Cabin) and changed hands several times over the years, until finally I was able to pick up this portion of the original farm. The previous owners of my property lived in this 385 square foot cabin for seven years while building their strawbale homestead next door, where the property manager (our son) now lives.

Had a wonderful stay here near the Bryce Canyon National Park. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to stay somewhere with a cozy atmosphere. This place was absolutely wonderful. Very clean, organized, and a very nice experience. We definitely would stay here again if given the chance!
The cabin is adorable, cozy, private, and clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to make simple meals. There is also an abundance of toiletries, in case you were not able to bring them. The owner communicated in a timely manner and the manager was welcoming.
This was a perfect spot for our vacation. Quiet and off the beaten path. Still super close to all the things we went to see. It was wonderful place to stay and the sunset was gorgeous out the back porch. Clean and cool.

Very quiet and peaceful. The stars were magnificent.
Perfect semi-remote cabin for a Bryce/Kodachrome vacation. Very clean and well cared for/supplied. We didn't want for anything. We could rise and enjoy a cup of coffee with an amazing view off the porch and then head out for the day of hiking. Return for a cozy relaxing evening and enjoy a sunset, amazing view of the milky way/darksky and the quiet we can't find at home.
Great place, very clean and comfortable! Has rustic charm and is out in the country. Definitely need to follow owners directions and try to find it before dark as our “Google directions” were not accurate. We stayed 2 nights and used it as a base when visiting Bryce Canyon. Amazing stars outside at night! Comfy bed and good, hot showers!! Really appreciated the mini fridge! It does take about 25-30 min to drive to Bryce Canyon park. The Pizza Place in Tropic(on drive back from Bryce Canyon) has awesome pizza!
The cabin was so adorable. Wished i had one in my backyard! The view was beautiful. We had deer right outside our door. The road to the cabin was a little sketchy, but the owner emailed very detailed directions, as Google maps misdirected. The cabin had all the little amenities like shower soap, dish soap, dinnerware, etc.
We enjoyed our 2 nights at the vintage cabin. The amenities provided in the kitchenette were an unexpected added touch. The decor was so appropriate with the variety of quilts, homemade curtains and such. Good directions provided as well.
Overall the cabin was exactly as advertised, and upon arrival it was so much more quaint and comfortable than we thought. We will definitely stay there again if we're ever going to visit the area again.

Why they chose this property
Located on a farm in the valley south of Henrieville, the location is secluded, peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. If you prefer being away from the regular tourist crowd, this place is for you. To the northeast you will see the little town of Henrieville surrounded by white cliffs, with a view of the spectacular pink limestone south face of the Aquarius plateau (first step of the Grand Staircase, nearly 11,000 feet elevation). To the west is the Paunsagunt Plateau (second step of the Grand Staircase, 8,000 to 9,500' elevation) and the pink limestone escarpment famously known as Bryce Canyon National Park. I grew up here and have not found a place on earth I like better.
