Charm of the Austin we remember

My family needed a suitable place for teens and adults to share during a working visit to Austin - our first return to a place we'd lived and loved 16 years ago. Austin has changed much since then but this gorgeously renovated and distinctly livable bungalow gave us a great place that felt like the home we remember. This is a great location - don't miss the short walk to Littlefield's Tacos + Coffee, esp. with young ones (pro tip: order ahead from Veracruz Tacos there). Short walk or drive to Lake Austin for walking, jogging, biking. The big dine-in kitchen is great for cooking and hanging out, if all the excellent dining choices overwhelm). Easy access to MoPac for driving, too. Comfy, cozy, well-maintained and very clean – 5 stars all around. Patrons, please keep this property nice, we look forward to returning to such a nice locale!

We love staying here!

This is our second time to stay here so that should tell you how much we love it! The home and location are fabulous and the host is best! Nice quiet neighborhood, off street parking, the home is so well appointed!

A little neighborhood gem

Tucked in a great neighborhood for walking, yet convenient to restaurants and Mozart’s Coffee/Pastry; our favorite for sweets and great coffee. Updated and well provided. Away from the congestion, yet easy to engage if that’s your focus.

Charming Get-Away

This house is an extremely wonderful place to stay. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect. The two master bedrooms were super comfortable. Loved the location and easy access to downtown and central Austin. Would stay here again and again!
