Getting Here & Parking:

Our cozy cabin offers ample parking for up to 5 vehicles, including a garage that accommodates 1 car. The cabin is accessible via a gravel road that most vehicles can navigate, with experienced motorcycle riders also being able to ride through with ease. Many lower sports cars have successfully made the trip to the cabin without any issues. However, during the winter season, we highly recommend using four-wheel drive in case of snow. To give you a better sense of the drive, we have a video of the route that we'd be delighted to share with you. If you have any questions or concerns about getting here, don't hesitate to contact us.

How we got our name:

The cabin is located in the Stecoah Valley of Robbinsville, NC. The name Stecoah is derived from the Cherokee term “Usdi Gohi,” meaning “little place”. It was applied to many places by the Cherokee, but here the words became “Stecoah” and the name stuck.

As for the stars... you'll just have to wait and see. Sitting around the firepit and counting the shooting stars.

Clean and comfortable
Communication with owners and check in was easy. Gravel street to property was a little daunting for me…thank God there was never oncoming traffic while we were there! Downstairs living area was nice for 3 couples. We took advantage of the hot tub and sauna!
Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2023
