Perfect Imperfection!
The cabin was perfect - Our family of 5 had so much great space to really relax, inside and out. The rustic interior was always interesting and OH SO COMFY. The owners take great care to keep things tidy as well as luxuriously bedded. We even had way more sleeping options than I originally thought which thrilled the kids. The aesthetic in all rooms was considered. All essentials were covered - no digging around for simple utensils. The porch overlooks a great, sloping back yard - we played catch on crisp evenings and put it to excellent use when we got 18" inches of snow! We did lose power at one point - ah mother nature - but the wood burning stove was put to good use keeping the whole cabin toasty, and the Propane stove worked great even without power to fix meals. The owners even stopped by to hook up the generator themselves - very thoughtful of them! There are several great hiking trails really close to the cabin that even my 4year old could do, but with great views up top! And being that we had so much snow we utilized a great sledding hill nearby, Dynamite Hill. The kids had a blast. We hope to return in the fall when the leaves are in full color and put the cabin to the test again - it certainly paid off the first visit! Very happy customers!

Men’s Weekend Away
Didn’t put a lot on the agenda for our weekend with my adult sons, son-in-law, and grandson. Having a cozy place to do not much of anything was what the doctor ordered. We tried our handed fishing did some exploring it the nightlife at Lake George but really just hanging out playing cards in this rustic setting was all we needed our busy lives. Sherry was more than accommodating and accessible. We hope to make this an annual thing in having the right location will make it easier to plan.
