About the host

Host profile image
We’re a family of five who traded city life for the joys of country living to be closer to family and grow our own little clan. Once full-time sculptors, my husband and I poured our hearts into creating art, some of which you’ll see in the unique decor of our Artsy apartment. Now, we’ve embraced a new chapter, raising our three kids alongside our passions for beekeeping, mechanical repair, and property building.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this historic gem in the heart of Brooksville, drawn to its unique location beside the iconic Mill Pond fishway—a beloved town landmark where alewives migrate each spring, creating a mesmerizing natural spectacle. As artists, we were captivated by the timeless charm of this antique house, with its rich character and sturdy bones, offering the perfect canvas to restore it to its former glory. We’re thrilled to share this special place, blending our passion for art, history, and nature, with guests who appreciate its one-of-a-kind coastal allure.

What makes this property unique

Our historic coastal retreat stands out with its vibrant, artsy charm and serene waterfront setting. Adorned with carefully curated art prints and a stunning hand-painted mural in one of the bedrooms, crafted by your host, this apartment is a creative haven that sparks inspiration. Nestled beside the iconic Mill Pond fishway, you’ll enjoy breathtaking water views and the soothing sound of the pebbling stream, with Walkers Pond just across the street. We take pride in maintaining an impeccably clean and relaxing space, ensuring every guest feels refreshed and at home. This unique blend of artistic flair, pristine cleanliness, and waterfront tranquility makes our property a one-of-a-kind escape.
