With just a short walk to PEI's famous beaches, a stay at Idlewood will help you unwind and get that well deserved break you need. A refreshing outdoor shower before a lounge in our 3 season room will allow you to relax in the abundance of natural sunlight that this 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage has to offer. Built in 2021, Idlewood is the ideal spot for you and your family to explore everything PEI has to offer, like local tasty eats, trails, and amazing golf courses. Only 20 mins to Charlottetown.
The space
Walk into a large open concept kitchen and living room, with a cozy gas fireplace to keep you warm and comfortable.
A sliding door opens to a beautiful 3 season room with 180 degrees of sunlight. Comfortable seating and sliding windows throughout makes this is a perfect area to spend your evenings, no matter the weather.
Down the hall is 3 spacious bedrooms with large windows and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom. With two more bedrooms across the hallway, featuring a queen bed in one and two twins in the other, there is plenty of space for you and your family. Additional sound proofing between all of the bedrooms will ensure that you have the quiet and relaxing getaway that you're looking for.
Guest access
Idlewood is perfectly nestled in a quiet, single road access neighbourhood. There are two parking spots on the property.
Beach access is only a short walk away along a forested trail.
With a national park pass, visitors will have access to even more of the Islands best beaches nearby. There are even local beaches that provide lifeguard services, washrooms and other amenities.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
As your checkout nears, we do ask if you can start the towels in the laundry and have the dishwasher turned on. Checkout is at 11:00am. Kindly let us know if you’ll be departing earlier than that.

We were a group of 4 retirees. We enjoyed our stay immensely! Cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped for all of our needs. Loved the short walk to the beach and it was located well for the sight seeing and activities we wanted to partake of on the island. Beds were comfortable, showers great. A great spot for families too!

Beautiful spacious property

The house is very nice, spacious, clean and well-stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was amazing. The location is very convenient and quiet.

The house was lovely. It was very clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again if travelling to PEI. The location was good, and the beaches around the area were lovely. The cottage was well appointed and the only thing we felt was missing was a Keurig machine. There was a drip coffee machine but took a bit of work to get the coffee to taste the way we liked it. The owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. A fabulous holiday in beautiful PEI.

The cutest house with all amenities.

We all were very pleased with the accommodations and all the different venues to enjoy. Outside, by the fireplace, out on the enclosed porch. Neighborhood very nice. We all really enjoyed it stay.

Wonderful property!

This property exceeded expectations! Comfortable beds, great quality furniture and appliances. All the little things you need and ones you didn’t even think of, but were such nice touches! You can tell the hosts treat this like their own home. The sunroom was our go to spot; coffee in the morning and game room at night.

North Shore PEI base

We used this property as a base to explore the north shore of PEI. It worked really well for us. The house is very new and was well equipped. Very clean. It is not directly on the water but it is a very short drive to a great beach that is part of the national park. It was a very quiet and uncrowded area. I would recommend this place.

Loved this Rental

I can’t find anything wrong with is property. Perfect! It is Super clean and well equipped for cooking, sleeping and playing. The home has a great layout. Open kitchen living room. In the back there is a dining sunroom. We had dinners and cards games at night. Nice deck and Adirondack chairs to sit outside and enjoy relaxing. Property is large for kids to play. Location is in a neighbourhood with big lots perfect location for going to all the beaches in Brackley Beach area and anywhere in PEI. Large bedrooms on-suite in main and family bath for the rest of house. The host was wonderful leaving books, high chair, pack n play and toys for the baby. There are beach chairs and towels to borrow for beach days. I will definitely be back to this property. Perfect!
