About the host
Hosted by Greg Spencer
Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.
Why they chose this property
In 1991, I first 'planted my flag' on the lower Toccoa. At that point there was no electricity on what is our unique peninsula of land, surrounded by the river on three sides.
