Nice cabin. Only thing to note for us was clawfoot tub/shower which was a little awkward for us, but otherwise a nice stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything good except no ice and did not find trays to make ice. Refrigerator doors open by themselves. Otherwise very good.

A week of theater, hiking and sharing time with special people

We prepared several meals and delighted in the kitchen, with high-quality pots/pans and knives. The toaster-oven-airfryer worked well. Having 2 bathrooms was very important for our group. The location was perfect for going to performances in Creede and hiking.

Colorado Mountain Getaway

This property reminded us so much of the Colorado mountain cabin we owned for 17 years. It's cozy and inviting and close to the historic mining town of Creede. It's well appointed, comfortable and inviting. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and concerns. If you are looking for a getaway far from the lights and sounds of city life, I highly recommend this wonderful cabin!

Overall what expected. Need an outdoor fish cleaning table and garden hose. Also exterior windows very dirty. But all in all a nice place

It sounds like you had a good stay but had a few suggestions for improvement. An outdoor fish cleaning table and garden hose would definitely be handy for those who love to fish. And clean exterior windows would certainly enhance the overall experience. If you decide to return, hopefully those additions can be made!

Family gathering

Close enough to Creede for all of that but far enough out to be great. Home was clean and well stocked. No a/c, like most of Colo, some fans would be nice for the early evenings. It says open the windows but almost all of the main floor is picture windows. Beds are comfortable. If you have little ones, the stairs arent steep but they have no spindles. We had a 3 yr old with our group and had to be very careful. Everything else was great. The river runs right down by the house with great shore fishing or wade in, raft launch. We were VERY happy with this place!

It means a lot to know you were very happy with the home overall, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Great base for exploring Creede!

Wished we could have stayed longer....so much to see and do. Mid-Sept and colors were not at peak, but still beautiful 😍. Cabin had everything we needed. Only two cons: 1)Heater took all night to warm the cabin but then stayed warm despite temps in the '30s. 2) Showers not great. Upstairs BR had slanted roof so no standing, only tub with sprayer. Downstairs bathroom had claw foot tub with shower head but only curtain around it. But plenty of hot water.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin because they advertise that we could ride are UTV directly from this location. We were located approximately 6 miles west of Creed. you can ride from this locations ‘’Legally” to Creede on designated trail along Highway 149 to the outskirts of town. We ride all the trails behind Creede like bachelors loop etc. We experienced all the roads and trails directly behind us and along the Rio Grande river . From are front porch you can see Bristol head. Very satisfied with the cabin amenities and location.
