Casa Kokopelli is the perfect romantic getaway!

This is the perfect "home base" for Colorado mountain fun! Surrounded by national forest and situated nearly 9000 feet up, there are activities for everyone. Fishing, rafting or kayaking on the Rio Grande River; camping; cross country skiing; down hill skiing/snowboarding at nearby Wolf Creek; 4-wheeling; shopping and dining in Creede; and even taking in a show at Creede Repertory Theatre. Or, just relax on the front porch and take in the magic of Creede. Located at the beginning of Main Street, you can easily stroll the heart of Creede and visit the shops, galleries, museum, theatre, etc. Or just look up Main Street and take in the view of Creede's magnificent cliffs. The beautiful adobe house is perfect for a couple, with a King bed in the master bedroom, adjoining a newly updated luxurious bath. Separate tub and shower are perfect for relaxing after a day spent hiking or on the slopes. There is a second bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and half bath to comfortably accommodate children or extra guests. A rollaway bed can also be provided upon request.

Casa Kokopelli offers free wifi for our guests. Additionally, there is a 50" Smart TV with wifi on-board so that guests can log in to their personal Netflix, Amazon, or other accounts directly from the TV. An HDMI cable is provided as a convenience for connections to a computer, gaming device, Fire or Roku Stick, etc. Please note that there is no network TV available in Creede and similar to the majority of other local rental locations, Casa Kokopelli does not offer cable/satellite TV. We encourage our guests to view the beautiful mountain scenery instead!

Creede has now established designated routes for Off Highway Vehicles--giving easy access from town to the famous "Bachelor Loop." Every season offers its own beauty and escape.

Great property for a super week in Creede

This is a special house in Creede. We were very comfortable with all necessary needs in kitchen and bathrooms. Fun seeing the deer stroll thru the yard. We enjoyed the entry and comfortable patio area. Location is convenient to all of Creede which is important to us.

Downtown Creede location

Excellent home right in downtown Creede. Walking distance to everything, and a great place to stay with friends if you are going to the theater. Host is very communicative and helpful, parking was easy, and the home had all the amenities needed for an extended stay. Perfect for two couples. We will stay with Susan again.

Absolutely wonderful place

This was my first time visiting Creede and this house did not disappoint. It was spotless, beds were so comfortable, master bathroom was to die for. Plenty to see and do in the area. Host was so kind and attentive. We will be back to Creede and will definitely be staying here!

Peaceful location at the edge of town

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this VRBO. It's conveniently located near the shops and restaurants downtown. I appreciate that it is stocked with good cookware!

My husband and I stayed at this adorable, yet plenty roomy casita with our daughter and her fiancee. So loved the homey decor and location . Creede Colorado is picture perfect with wwonderful, friendly people. Loved On the Fly Coffee, Creede Hotel restaurant, Oppie's, outdoor music, local art, the Last Chance Mine and ATV ride. the Casita was GREAT place to stay to enjoy it all.

This little house is perfectly placed within walking distance of everything in Creede. Super convenient and nicely appointed. The bed is a bit hard for my liking but hey…I’m not complaining.

The house in Creede was exactly what we needed. It was clean, well arranged, within walking distance to town, and comfortable. We even had a visiting doe each morning and a 10point buck one morning. I guess “ her boyfriend!”

We rarely get away & decided that the Casa Kokopelli sounded perfect for our Romantic Getaway to Colorado. The home was Gorgeous, the pictures don't do this place justice! Its situated so perfectly with convenience & seclusion bundled into one. Waking up to the view of the mountains each morning was breathtaking & our hiking adventures were spectacular. Can't dream of any place I would rather return to than the Casa. Thanks Susan for sharing your home & helping create memories that will last a lifetime!!!

Location was outstanding - convenient for walking to all downtown activities. The property itself is spacious and mostly comfortable. We had a good experience, but it could have been awesome with a few improvements. Better seating in the living room would be #1. Also, the door to the bathroom in the primary bedroom didn't close. Heaters didn't seem to work properly (kept heating despite the setting on the thermostat), and the TV didn't come with any instructions - just trial and error. We love Creede but will probably look at other properties for our next visit.

This casa is a very nice rental. It was easy to access and check out. The host was very responsive, and the location cannot be beat!We hiked, fished, drove the Bachelor Loop, viewed waterfalls, and went to the theater.
