You will have access to the entire cabin during your stay.

The Lux Western Cabin is a stylish place to stay and perfect for group trips. Close proximity to Shaver Lake, China Peak, and various hiking/outdoor adventures! Lux Western Cabin is nestled within the Ockenden Ranch subdivision in the community of Shaver Lake. 3 miles to the center of Shaver Lake.

Outfitted with beautiful decor and suited to fit the needs of the modern vacationer. There are 3 bedrooms, each with king and queen size beds and a game room which also sleeps 2.

A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes or beach towels. Entertainment options like flat-screen TVs mean you can cozy up with a good movie next to the wood-burning fireplace! Enjoy the deck with table and chairs in the summertime, with a good cup of joe in hand (complimentary selection of coffee and hot cocoa are offered, of course).

Linens - We provide clean linens
Towels - We provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Toiletries - We provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

The cabin is for families and friend getaways only, no parties. We are the owners, not a rental agency.

If you have a large party, multiple families, family reunion, wedding...secure multiple cabins to be close to your friends and family! Message me for details @thecabinhost.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. Fabulous house

The place well built with multiple architectural details. The almost wrap- around porch would be perfect in the summer time, especially given the proximity to the lake.

Beautiful home! Lots of space, very clean and comfy. The kids had so much fun playing pool and ping pong. Jaime the Cabin Host is an amazing host. So easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Shaver Lake. It is our favorite place to visit.

Super Bowl Weekend

A great place to watch the Super Bowl with the family. TVs in almost every room. Smart TV and Direct TV access, all worked great. Grandkids loved the pool table and ping pong. Beds and bedding were great. Large round dining room table that was good for table games. Kitchen fairly well stocked. Would rent again.

Our annual Ladies only trip

Very beautiful home with updated furniture. Plenty of room for all eight of us. Great size kitchen. Nice big back porch to relax on with plenty of room for everybody. One thing to be mindful of is there are stairs. We fit 3 cars in driveway and one in garage so total of 4 vehicles. We choose a different location every year, but if we stay in Shaverlake Lake again in the future, we will definitely choose this location.

Family Ski Trip

My family recently rented this house for our ski trip and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Our family had the most incredible time, and the house perfectly accommodated all of us. We had a blast enjoying the amenities, especially the pool table and ping pong table – they provided endless entertainment for everyone. The house itself was stunning – spacious, comfortable, and located in the perfect spot. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for our getaway. The hosts were incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had such a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation spot in Shaver Lake.
