Everything we expected and more!

The condo we stayed in was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the beach! The surrounding area had everything from grocery stores to entertainment. Loved our family get away!

Post Labor Day Fun

Over all this was an extremely comfortable condo with a good view. It didn't have granite counter tops or other high end furnishings that some have come to expect, but to tell you the truth I didn't miss it. The fact is when your elevator door opens to your own foyer and you walk in to this roomy clean condo with a view that takes your breath away, you can't help but to smile. We have two kids and brought our mother in law with us to enjoy the trip. Our kids are 17 months and 3 years old. I bring this up because we were nervous about the sleeping arrangements. From the time we arrived our kids took to this condo like it was home. We called ahead and had the crib waiting, I definitely recommend this option for parents with babies (We found the crib option for 65 dollars for the week) The wicker furniture gave us concern but it was actually nice and comfortable. To be honest we spent very little time in the living room. The large balcony was furnished with sturdy furniture that we used to enjoy the view as well as eat from time to time. The master Bedroom was nice, the mattress could use an update. My wife did complain that the only tub was in the master, other bathrooms were showers only. There were a few issues. We had a bug problem in the kitchen, the TV in the 2nd bedroom went out and the button on the master tub that controlled the jets kept coming off. With this being said the bugs I handled with a trip to Wal-Mart, the TV was replaced with a new one in a timely manner, and the button controlling the jets worked it just would go missing from time to time. For anyone concerned about the location of Silver Shells and what it is located next to let me say we found the location to be excellent. Wal-mart across the street, and within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do. I would have no problem returning to this condo and would recommend it without hesitation.
