The property was clean, and equipped with everything my family of 5 & 2 dogs needed to have a wonderful time! Check in & out directions were very clear and plenty of space for our boat and trailer. We highly recommend this property!
Avoid this rental at all costs. Finding the house is nearly impossible; the GPS leads you to the wrong location entirely. The instructions for renters look like they were scribbled by a child, and the rules are misleading and don’t match the listing.
The host promises a boat ramp and ample space for maneuvering your boat and trailer, but what they call a ramp is just a makeshift clearing in the woods. “Just across the street” is a far cry from being accessible or enjoyable. The actual ramp is down a treacherous road that leaves your vehicle and boat at risk of damage from overhanging branches and rough terrain.
You’ll be backing your boat into a muddy, murky bank while your truck struggles not to sink. This experience is not worth it—save yourself the trouble and choose another place to stay.
The house was beautiful on the inside and had everything you need for cooking. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were great. One of the beds was a little firm for me so i moved to the room across the hall and it was perfect. The view of the lake is very nice but it is across the road and through the 🌳 trees, but still nice. We sat on the full wrap around decks and watched the boats and jet skis go by on the lake. It was a beautiful getaway. It has so so wifi, and it was hard to get movies to play at times due to the slow internet speed during peek hours, but over all, we relaxed and watched alot of movies on netflix.
The only thing i can say negative about this property is the many many stairs. If you have any difficulty with stairs, its probably not for you. The house is 3 stories and the bedrooms are on one level and the sitting room and kitchen are on another level. It was hard on my family because we have knee problems and health issues and you go up and down those stairs alot. Plus, carrying in groceries up the stairs and back down and back up was very hard. Thank goodness we had my husband come help us unpack and carry things upstairs or we would have been in trouble.
The house is beautiful, clean, effecient, wonderful.. the many stairs, not so much. We did love the house overall and the peace and quiet. The host was very quick to answer any questions we had and there are a ton of activities all around with boat rentals and ski rentals.etc..
